Short but challenging, tight tree line fairways, fast slopping greens no major water hazards but most holes have ditches both along fairway or across. Came off thinking should have done better, so will go back before the leaves start to fall.

Short, tight course
Tight little course that makes full use of Epping Forest to make up for its lack of length. Lots of irons off tees and clever placement required. Make sure you have your range finder for the lay ups.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 0)

Tight and challenging
Enjoyed the course - tight fairways. In reasonable condition. Would definitely play again. Covid restrictions prevented proper assessment of facilities(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 93 Handicap: 18.2)

Will certainly play again.
This course has a good layout and requires you to wear your thinking cap. Unfortunately we had 2 groups in front of us who were slow but other than that it was an enjoyable round. The course could do with some more maintenance but it could be lacking due to the current covid restrictions. Some of the greens ran different to others too. nice short course but not easy, if you hit it well off the tee here you have a good chance of scoring. greens were firm but in good condition.

Very nice course
I have played at Theydon Bois a number of times over the years and I played there in April 2019. Although it's a fairly short course, some of the holes are fairly challenging especially on the back 9. It's a very picturesque course and my friend and I always enjoy playing it. The clubhouse staff were friendly and the food was good. We will definitely be back.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 104 Handicap: 30.3)

So friendly. Excellent course
I played with my dad on 29/8/18. Course was in good condition considering the recent weather. What was most memorable about the club was the fantastic hospitality. Everyone we spoke to was charming and helpful. We also had one of the best ploughman's we've ever had. 7 cheeses! Would highly recommendReviewer Rating
