What The Club Says
The course is truly unique, with 9 of the fairways being narrowly sculptured out of the ancient forest, pleasantly contrasting with 9 wider and winding fairways. Subtly borrowed greens are guarded by strategically placed bunkers, all of which make this par 68 course a real challenge for all standards of player.

Lovely short but very tight course in beautiful surroundings. Greens were very sandy and slow but this is the time of year (Late March). One of my societies favourite courses. We know by summertime, greens and fairways will be rapid... a different challenge altogether.Reviewer Rating

Played here on Saturday and I was blown away by the condition of the course. While every other course around is carry only and has multiple temp greens, Theydon was fully open, no temp greens and still allowing trolleys. The course is a beauty anyway but the condition at this time of year compared to almost everywhere else was simply stunning. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Unbelievable value
Play here a lot as after 12pm its only £15.The course isn't long but you have to think about what your doing.Its in great condition especially for winter golf with the greens being a real highlight.You can't bomb it around this track,its more of a thinkers course.A well placed tee shot will usually leave you a easy shot in.Tees,bunkers and fairways are decent so not much to complain about.
Maybe the pro shop needs some stock but that is spliting hairs.
A must play in my opinion.
