Very nice course
I have played at Theydon Bois a number of times over the years and I played there in April 2019. Although it's a fairly short course, some of the holes are fairly challenging especially on the back 9. It's a very picturesque course and my friend and I always enjoy playing it. The clubhouse staff were friendly and the food was good. We will definitely be back.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 104 Handicap: 30.3)

Why haven't I played this course before
The course was in very good condition and although not long was very challenging. Having discovered this gem, I will be back to play it again and again.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 12.4)

Short but challenging course
I have played Theydon Bois a number of times over the years and have always found it to be a very challenging course. It's a really lovely parkland course with lots of trees making it quite tight. Excellent course in dry weather, a bit sticky in the wet. Good food in the clubhouse and friendly staff.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 112 Handicap: 28)

Friendly club

Nice course in Epping Forest. Tricky enough but not too long. Fairways would have benefited from watering but well recommended course.

Not the longest course, but very tight and challenging. Used to have a reputation for being a little snobby, but very friendly whenever I've visited.
