A very nice course with good facilities. It’s not that long but you need to be accurate to score well.

Nice course in Epping Forest

Excellent private course. First green was in poor condition and there was one temporary tee (mat). Otherwise good and not busy on a Friday mid-day. Good value at £27.50 per round.

Short but challenging, tight tree line fairways, fast slopping greens no major water hazards but most holes have ditches both along fairway or across. Came off thinking should have done better, so will go back before the leaves start to fall.

Will certainly play again.

This course has a good layout and requires you to wear your thinking cap. Unfortunately we had 2 groups in front of us who were slow but other than that it was an enjoyable round. The course could do with some more maintenance but it could be lacking due to the current covid restrictions. Some of the greens ran different to others too. I would definitely play the course again.

Very nice course

I have played at Theydon Bois a number of times over the years and I played there in April 2019. Although it's a fairly short course, some of the holes are fairly challenging especially on the back 9. It's a very picturesque course and my friend and I always enjoy playing it. The clubhouse staff were friendly and the food was good. We will definitely be back.

Why haven't I played this course before

The course was in very good condition and although not long was very challenging. Having discovered this gem, I will be back to play it again and again.

Short but challenging course

I have played Theydon Bois a number of times over the years and have always found it to be a very challenging course. It's a really lovely parkland course with lots of trees making it quite tight. Excellent course in dry weather, a bit sticky in the wet. Good food in the clubhouse and friendly staff.
