As someone picking up clubs for the 1st time in 14 months I joined a couple of members at the weekend and have to say the old reviews are no longer true. Wentworth it is not BUT all the basics were there\\tee\'s - a couple were a bit ropey but on the whole OK\Fairways - well defined with a bit of clover here and there\Greens - not fast but pretty true\Bunkers - probably the weakness of the course\\And as a couple of members I spoke to said, who knew that if you looked after the course people will come. Probably going to join in the next few weeks\\Why 3 stars, because a lot of course are over rated for what they are. If they keep going on the work, 4 stars is possible.

The course has improved greatly following a lot of work by the Grounds team our the winter months

A lot of work has been done on the course to bring it to a high standard in recent months. A challenging course albeit it looks easy at first glance

Green and fairways play well. Green are tight due to be protected by trees. Not busy so can enjoy a peaceful round.

I moved home and the course was local so I thought this course would be ideal, but unfortunately the prices are expensive for the quality of fairways, greens and course design, the staff from front of house to the green keeper were rude and not welcoming at all. I was very disappointed.

Played during the week at £20 for 18 holes fairways were reasonable considering recent weather however greens are awful all round very patchy and little grass on them for the price it\'s really poor played donning ton valley for just £16 which was in great condition work is needed and price should reflect this.

Played today which i know is winter but the course was really poor. Field with holes in it. Fairways very very heavy and not defined - better on the back 9. Green were shocking , like putting on compacted mud. At £20 not good value. The welcome was very good.

The course has improved tremendously over the last year and the greens are now very slick, the fairways and rough are regularly cut and a lot of course maintenance has been done to improve the whole course

This is a very good course. With a bit more investment it could be a top quality course. The greens are in good shape. There is however one temporary green. A couple of the holes have pylons and electric cables going across. All in all a very good course.

The course is in need of some T.L.C some of the greens are in a very poor condition having said that we have had a very dry spell of wether.
