What the club says: The Club at Mapledurham has an impressive array of golf facilities to meet your bespoke needs, and help you gain or improve your handicap. Opened in 1992, Mapledurham's Berkshire-based 18 Hole Golf Course was designed within the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside by Robert Sandow. Its great greens and free drainage fairways are surrounded by panoramic views of outstanding beauty across the Thames Valley.
Since opening, this superb Club has quickly built a reputation as one of the friendliest clubs in Berkshire, making it a superb venue for you and your family to relax, unwind and play golf.

Myself and a friend played at 11:30 on a Saturday, great atmosphere around the practice putting green before teeing off. What appeared to be a mixed bag of abilities but everyone was friendly. I enjoyed the course and the challenges it presented, seeing more then just golfers around the facility highlighted that it was a place that people going to. I would recommend visiting for sure.

It’s shaped up nice. Greens and Tee boxes are much improved also the fairways are in good condition

Great condition
Although it’s a small course it’s still a good challenge. It’s in great condition at the moment but the current weather is helping as it’s very unsettled for the summer(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 87 Handicap: 16.5)

Beautiful course well worth a visit

great golf

One of the few courses that is playable at the moment in the area.

Never again!!
I tried to book via 3rd party website, but tee times for 2 weeks??, so called them and managed to get a booking very easily the next day. When booking in was told the cost of a 2 ball is ?72!! I checked if this was for the use of the health club as well as its very high compared to much better, proper golf courses and no this was just for the golf. The condition of the course was poor, its a basic course, so at that price will never play there again!!Reviewer Rating

Open fairways with a low SS (66) make this a course that is easier to go low on. Don't be mislead by the greens, they are fast, true and have hard to read breaks to make it interesting. Bunkers with plenty of sand and fairways in pretty good condition given the year we have had. Locals very feeindly

Its good, short but fun
I enjoyed the course but it is a a short and flat course, very little grass on fairways due to a very hot summer. Dog walkers were a bit annoying. Facilities and price good. Would like to play again.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 19.5)
