Nice course with plenty of water, not the most difficult as its not the longest course you will play, but you have to use a bit of course management as it has plenty of hazards. A bit overpriced especially at weekends, but i played on a Tuesday before 7.30am which they call an early-bird and only paid £12.00 which at that price is excellent value, after 7.30am i think its £18.00 which during the week is a bit steep, at weekends i think its £24.00 and there are better course to play around the same price.

The priors course is short, but very tactical. Lots of water you have to cross at tee locations and around greens.

A tough course but a lot of interesting holes. Will challenge high handicappers and would probably suit longer hitters. An ok clubhouse but I dont think its worth the green fees compared to others!.

Interesting course that you have to think your way around. Luckily played with a member otherwise would have been hopelessly lost on a few holes, u-turn dog legs, numerous blind shots. A few par fours that are almost imposible to hit in two due to layout, water etc. Difficult course in all but in good nick and would return, but with a 2-4-1 voucher in my sky rocket!

Very pleasant course. Tight fairways, interesting holes, some with water in play, and also some good doglegs. I really enjoyed playing here. Even the natives were nice and friendly! (Explanation - I come from over the border in Hertfordshire)

This is a great course. The course has been thoughtfully designed with plenty of hazards to contend with, especially water, which comes into play on more than half of the holes. The first and 18th holes in particular are a test of nerve! And great value for money. The facilities are basic, but there's somewhere to get refreshments and there are toilets, so its good enough. There's a decent pub only 400 yards away so if you're looking for a beer after and something to eat just head down to the Alma Arms. Overall, this is great value for money.

The greens were very impressive quality.

I enjoyed the course as most holes require tactical play rather than just hit it as far as you can! Many dog legs or water hazards so you have to choose whether to lay up or go for greens.

However I would never go again due to the service. I was attending a work golf day so we played 36 holes and was at the course early for breakfast first. I tried to visit the reception 4 times and every time it was closed!! One of these times we needed score cards and resulted in us teeing off late.

really enjoyed this round, score tells the story really. quite forgiving course whilst still presenting interesting challenges. gives us high handicappers a chance to salvage a score even if not particularly long or straight hitters. recommended.

A nice pay and play course. Decent enough fairways and greens. Lots of water which is strategically placed in front of greens - making it a bit tricky. Would definitely play there again. (although it was very busy!)

Used 2 for 1 voucher and this course is excellent for £15 each! Wish they had a course map or yardage chart available. Played for the first time and some holes are severe and blind dog legs from the tee making it very difficult to plan your way around. A lot of water placed very strategically, often in front of greens. The greens are small so accurate approach play is vital. Had a great time and will definately return!
