Rye Hill GC was a new experience and a very pleasant one, set in lovely countryside and luckily we played in blue sky's and sunshine. Clubhouse building and car parking very good. In house services (pro-shop and bar/food) ok. The course itself is a fair test of golf and as a19HC I failed yo play to my handicap, so some tough holes, although the fairways were wide and the rough not too much of a penalty. Certainly would play the course again if I was in the. Banbury area.

NICE CLUB HOUSE COURSE WAS SET UP FOR CLUB CHAMPS SO PLAYED HARDER THAN USUAL, BUT HAD A NICE DAY.
ITS A VERY GOOD COURSE THAT DOES NOT GET ENOUGH PUBLICITY.
WELL WORTH A TRIP OVER. (WE ARE FROM MILTON KEYNES).

Greens were great. Very true, not too fast or slow. Fairways bit long. Rough was short, but VERY tough.

Friday 21st November 2015
Considering the conditions (very wet), overall the course was in very good condition with the greens being excellent for November.
Our 20 members thoroughly enjoyed the day despite the weather and were very complimentary regarding the Steak & Ale pie we devoured afterwards.
As for the standard of golf, least said the better - scores ranged from 32 - 11 points with most members finding the long par 4s and sloping fast greens real challenge.

No matter what the weather brings this is one coarse you can play all year round ,its breath taking views and long greens make a good day out.
We had a group of us play Texas Scramble and all had an enjoyable day , only with draw was should had a couple of Buggies for a few of the older golfers who looked worn out at the end of the day

Golfshake Team ReviewLovely course in the Oxfordshire countryside not far from Banbury. I organised a society golf day for 28 golfers and we all had a great time receiving a warm and friendly welcome from everyone at the venue who ensured we had a great day.

The course is well maintained, nice fairways which aren't that punishing in terms of wide or the rough and nice large greens. Off the yellows this is still a reasonable length course so offers a nice test of golf. The holes are varied enough to ensure you don't just plod your way around the course but have to do some thinking!

Well worth a visit and would definitely go back if I was in the area given the quality and value for money.

Really long and challeging par 4's excellent greens usually 2 or 3 tiered so finding the right level is important. Course as the name says is quite hilly.

Played the course for 4 years now and never had to play on temporary greens. The course is always in superb condition and a credit to the green keepers and staff.
I would recommend the club to anyone interested as the points system works well for anyone that cannot play regularly.

The course was in great condition and very well maintained. Quite forgiving but still punished my really bad slices. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a member.
