Stay and Play
We stayed 2 nights in a beautiful lodge and managed 2 rounds of golf. Ground was very hard and this mace approach shots very difficult. Fast greens and very difficult to read. Lovely course in a likewise setting and a lot tougher than it looks. Excellent facilities and food and staff very friendly. Well worth a visit but a bit expensive to stay.Reviewer Rating

Annual visit
A stay at the Lodges and two rounds of golf is a delightful break that we highly recommend. The Lodges is such an excellent facility that it is worth visiting even if you are not playing golf. Feldon Valley is decent course that is being improved each year. It is a course that benefits from having been played few times. Well worth it.Reviewer Rating

We visited for our annual group golf holiday & the venue was spot on. The course was interesting, challenging and not overly busy, we were all able to enjoy our golf without being hurried (mixed golf levels require a little patience). The service and food were great, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this for older groups (we're all 50+) as its not a 'boys on tour place' (we've left those well behind!) but serves great food, wine & golf. Will definitely return, thanks to all at Feldon for a great couple of days.Reviewer Rating

Feldon Valley Bank Holiday
The greens at Feldon Valley were fantastic, the showers stayed away and I had a good round. The course needs to be played with thought, the valley means you can't just blast it. You need to play with care.

Hot evening beautiful scenery
Feldon Valley was in good condition with plenty of roll and firm greens. The course demands keeping the ball straight as there are plenty of opportunities to stray out of bounds. The stream across the course means the need to think and not just pull out the driver.Reviewer Rating

Great condition and very welcoming
Feldon have been paying particular attention to the greens recently and it shows. They are much improved from a year ago and are now in excellent condition, as is the rest of the course. It is clear that a lot of investment has been put into the course in the last few years in terms of drainage and it has improved the fairway conditions. The course has matured very nicely since I played there in the late 1990s. The fairways are generally fairly forgiving but there are a few holes where the Sutton brook will force you to think carefully as to how to play the hole. There are some very scenic views from elevated tees; particularly the 17th.The club is very welcoming to visitors and new members. I recently joined and found the membership to be very welcoming, with none of the stuffiness or cliques that can be evident at other clubs. This is reflected in a very positive culture at all levels of the membership.

carrying out lots of work. Initially the course looked in good condition but when on first green again very disappointed as they have not improved since last year.
Very bobbly and not quick. Spoiled the day for most people.
