We played Pennard this week in hot, sunny weather. As previous posters have mentioned, the fairways were very very parched, with hardly any green in sight. However, even this could not detract from the quality and excitement of this fantastic track. The holes are varied, the scenery is incredible and the staff/locals are very friendly. Definitely recommend Pennard - despite being cruel and tough to tame, it was one of the most exciting courses our group had played and will live long in the memory.

The links in the sky is just what you would expect it to be; a terrific challenge, undulating fairways, excellent greens, superb views. The welcome in the pro shop was warm and the food and drinks were great in well presented surroundings. In fine weather try the new balcony with a view over the famous three cliffs bay.

An amazing course with some awesome views. Everyone makes you welcome-Secretary,pro and especially the catering manager. The course is well laid out,lots of bunkers, ups and downs. The food is magnificent. A great experience

A great course played in breezy conditions making it a real test. No two holes are alike and some very quirky ones - loved it.
Highly recommended but the green fees are quite pricy though is still good value for money.

Pennard is a unique course. It is heavily bunkered and the wind always seems to be against you.
you are sure of a great welcome to accompany your sense of pride in coming off with anything like a reasonable score. Outstanding views

Fantastic course in a fantastic setting, views during the back 9 verge on incredible at time. Club staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and club shop itself did a nice range of course branded items for the collectors out their.
Highly recommend both the course and the service.

Absolutely stunning - we were blessed with sunshine and light winds, but this made the course even more spectacular and complimented breathtaking views. A very friendly reception from all the staff and excellent condition of both the course and greens meant for a wonderful 2 days golfing. The course itself is tricky and I would suggest playing it twice just to get the lie of the land as there are quite a few blind shots, but look out for the 17th!! Highly recommended.

Wonderful layout and a challenge in blustery conditions. Don't expect pristine condition fairways but you get a true links challenge. Green and tee boxes are very good

Captains charity day
Played Pennard for the captains charity day. Really well organised and a great day was had. The wind made the course a good test. Greens were slick and true to putt on. The course I'd a great layout with a variety if differing and challenging holes. Thoroughly recommend a visitReviewer Rating
