Society day
Booked a society day, was told to check website re course condition for trolleys, checked before leaving home & all ok but on arrival told no trolleys. I had no carry bag but was told tough, no golf. The chef never turned up, so no breakfast & staff not qualified to prepare toast as a make do. Manager was rude and un compromising.Reviewer Rating

Played the course on 23 May 2021. The condition of the course is poor. The worst I have played this year by a distance. It appears that maintenance is done on a budget and the management are hiding behind claims they are preparing the course for a Europro event. Fairways are not even up to first cut rough of the other courses I have played this year. Greens are very slow and cut very high. They are mainly flat though, the ball runs true. For the money this isn’t value and I won’t be back.Reviewer Rating

Have played here previously but this time the course looked like no maintenance had been carried out for a while. Greens were the worst we have played in a while, shame as this is a nice course

Post lockdown round
Have played this course a number of times and used to be a member when it first opened. I Have to say that's the course was in terrible condition. Greens were heavily sanded and fairways looked like they just had a first cut after the lockdown began in November. clearly nothing has been done to the course during closure and it showed, apart from some very obscured block paved paths that mostly leaded nowhere. Course condition
Played here on 3rd April 2021.....the course is in terrible condition terrible fairways and rubbish greens,considering we have been in lockdown and nobody has been playing the course you would think it would be in tip top condition! Also the overall appearance of the club is very scruffy I’ve played better and more impressive public courses!Reviewer Rating

Well maintained course but...Course covered in rubbish (beer bottles)
Staff rude. Made me feel very unwelcome. I left the club feeling quite upset. Implied I had not paid my green fee when I had booked online.
Treated like an unwelcome ‘guest’ not a paying customer. A shame.
