Good course, well presented with very good greens.Plenty of interesting holes.
We were a group of 48 and the day went fabulously well. The staff couldn't do enough for us.

Great nick shame about the pollen
Course looks in good condition. Fairways look spongy, a couple had sand down but full of grass. 2nd cut is penal. Around the green was lush and greens were fast and quite hard. Like a parkland course but with Links type greens. Tricky conditions if you don't find the fairways.Reviewer Rating

Muddy but enjoyable
Played on 20/03/2023. The course was very muddy, with not a lot of grass on some fairways. By the time I'd finished the 2nd hole the wheels on my trolley were think with mud. It was very hard to push it. However, I thought the layout was pretty good: Some hills, undulations and interesting layouts. I'd come back but in late spring or summer.Reviewer Rating

The staff in the pro shop and the bar were extremely welcoming . We could see there has been a fair amount of work carried out on the fairways and the paths. The fairways were in good condition and the tee boxes were ok. The greens were a little threadbare in places but well drained .Reviewer Rating

Not muddy but evidence of mud
Not a lot of grass on fairways and tee could be in better condition. Greens full ofunder tabel water, leaving indents everywhaer. Very few even greens. However still an enjoyable challenge but needs time to recover from the winter rain oh and yesterdays showers which obviously didn't help the greens

Mud bath
Total mud bath by late October, fairways are not fairways ... they are more like those muddy football pitches you used to play on when you were 8. Greens were terrible, badly kept, slow. Barely a golf course by October, not worth it. Maybe better in Summer looking at comments. VERY busy course and slow play everywhere.Reviewer Rating

Still playing long
Dry fairways and bumpy greens. Could do with some rolling out. Shadows across green emphasised the dips and troughs. Grreens quite slow.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic greens but soooo slow
Played twilight and thought it would be less busy . Didn’t get to the ninth hole has witching 5 holes in 2.5hrs I gave up . 4 ball of old men and 2 ball of hackers wouldn’t even let me through. Greens were fantastic on the first 5 . Need a course Marshall out there as no etiquette and rude membersReviewer Rating

Much improved since last played here
Much better than I remember last playing here but then again it was very wet and a lot of work was being done to it. The rough was quite penal today. Off the fairway by a couple of yards and the densness of the grass made it difficult to find. Bunker, centre was ok but if not raked, no sand! Green were the 2nd best we have played on. Not quick but at least rolled and a lot of small little borrows that were difficult to spot. Definitely worth coming againReviewer Rating

Maturing
A lot of work was done on the course a few years back and that is paying off now, both in terms of the playing surfaces and the environment. Very friendly staff. Good value.Reviewer Rating
