Located in an attractive rural setting between Downe Village and Down House, our continued success has been achieved by upholding golf's best traditions of etiquette, courtesy and friendship.

M&G golf day
Testing course, greens very tough, really well laid out and have lots of hills. Really well set out a great course that looks so possible to master but a really tough course.Reviewer Rating

Great Course
Great course with plenty of undulating lies. Course was in good condition given the greens are being prepared for the summer. Staff in the clubhouse and Pro Shop were very helpful and welcoming. Still a few old attitudes exist with members. Two of our group were reminded to tuck their polo shirts in their shorts. Not as good as I’d hoped
Not a bad course but not one I’d rush back to play . I enjoyed the elevated start on the 1st and the last couple of holes look very nice underneath the clubhouse but for the main part quite dull . The greens are ok but not as good as others I’ve played and fairways had some bare areas and some of the tee boxes are very messy . Whole place is ok but feels like it could be betterReviewer Rating

Good nick for the time of year
Green running really well, thankful course had been closed since Weds as meant we were lucky enough to get it untrodded. Also lovely lady at the halfway house

This golf course is in great condition and presents a fair challenge. The greens and fairways are perfectly maintained and make for a great test of golf. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a wonderful place to play golf.

massively disappointing
WKGC has a good reputation but we thought it incredibly poor. It was in the worse condition of any club we've played in the last two years. Greens were soft and bobbly with mud on them and fairways in terrible condition. Nice club but the course needs some TLC.Reviewer Rating

Pretty course in good condition
It was super hot, but greens and fairways were great and a fair test of golf. We will come back again for sure.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 21.1)

Haven't played this course in many years but it was a welcome return meeting up with old golfing friends.
The course was in good condition and have benefitted from increase membership over the COVID-19 lockdown period like most clubs.

lovely course
2nd time i played it this year was as good as the 1st time fairways were in good condition the greens were in good condition and fast made putting trickystaff are really friendly and helpful will be going back again

Lovely albeit tricky course
Short course relatively in distance although you have to plot your way round the course intelligently. Some great holes including the par 5, 7th and a great par 3 on the 16th. Highly recommended(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 12.2)

Great course and Teaching Pro's
Very friendly club with great teaching pros.. Ive had a lesson there for 2 years now and also play the course on a green fee basis.The course is in the valley behind Biggin Hill private airport and as such the Spitfire that is based there is often flying about you.. the course looks easier than it is as the greens can catch you out.
The 16th hole is a par 3 gem

Disappointing
Great photos on website & with a standard green fee of £50, my expectations were high. Luckily though, I was delayed today, so paid the twilight rate.Beautiful rural setting but not an inspiring course for me, with too many shots over hills where you’re not sure where to go Some may like it, but my highlight was the sight and sound of a Spitfire flying over from nearby Biggin Hill.

Played here for the second time. Course had a few temps and some holes that were closed as pretty damp and appeared they were protecting it for the new season. Pro-shop gave a decent discount on that basis so still worth playing and the course itself is well worth a visit. Very welcoming all round and good food in clubhouse pre and post round.

Great course in great condition and little gem. I hadn't played before but was pleasantly surprised with track which was challenging in some places.The staff were all very friendly, as were the members we came across who all asked if we enjoyed the course.. .the greens were fast-ish but true, the rough was tiger high (June 2018) but fairways were beautifully manicured so seem a shame to hit them!!
I would highly recommend the day rate for the course which give good value
