The recent rain has helped the course enormously.there is still issues with broken tees on the tee boxes, scruffy areas that have been marked but nothing seems to be done and the bunkers have rocks in them

A very hot day with a stiff breeze but a pleasant day's golf on a very dry course but in a very reasoanble condition. Because the ground was hard it was ver difficult to get the ball to grip and thus hard to judge length of shot. It all added to the challenge though.Reviewer Rating

A short course
Chelsfield plays very short with most par 4's reachable with a short iron for your second shot.Greens were a bit slow and grainy. bunkers needed more maintenance.
The course played relatively easy with quite a few holes that looked like each other.

Spring round
Course is a bit beaten up after the winter - greens not great and tee boxes in poor state. It's clearly suffered from the wet winter - will have to see how it progresses through spring. Twilight green fee was about rightReviewer Rating

For a public course its in fairly good condition. Tee boxes are as you would expect for a public course, fairways are fast and bump and the greens are hard, bumpy and two speeds. worth the weekday rate but not the weekend rateReviewer Rating

Challenging enough for our society
Very accommodating, front desk very helpful and makes my job as organiser that much easier. Food and catering staff were brilliant and attentive. In all a very good day had by all. Only very slight bug bear the greens were still recovering from treatment otherwise the course was in good conditionReviewer Rating

Fairways in good condition
Bunkers have a few stones in them so need more sand. Greens just sanded and aerated so a bit tricky. But course has played well over winter with just a few days when the course has been closed. Some fairways roped out to avoid trollers. But groundstaff do a fantastic job.Reviewer Rating

The course to ourselves
Given the amount of rain recently they have done a great job here. Tees and greens were in good condition, just a shame previous golfers couldnt be bothered to repair their own pitch marks.Reviewer Rating

Slow and overpriced!
Played here for the first time in 2 yrs on Bank holiday Monday for green fee of ?39. Whilst I didn't expect a quick round by any means 4 and a half hours for a 2 ball was incredibly frustrating. The conditions of the tee boxes were very poor with tee and rubbish, the bins clearly hadn't been emptied for some time! Generally course condition was ok but the tees/paths/pond clearly need some TLC, a lot has been spent on the range but at a cost to the course, ?39 green fee is not great when PP and Lullingstone are adjacent.Reviewer Rating

Fair course for the average golfer
Plat weekly, always a different challenge, especially in winter when a couple of the fairways get boggy. But greenkeepers do a fantastic job - we never have to put up with temporary greens.Reviewer Rating

Considering all the recent rain the course was in very good condition. The bunkers were excellent with plentiful sand. For a public course it offers great hospitality and very good value. The pro shop is managed very well with extremely helpful staff and excellent tuition. Naturally there are more challenging and prestigious courses around but not at this priceReviewer Rating

The staff are on the ball here. The course was in okay shape considering the amount of recent rain. That said I'm sure what they have put in the bunkers - sand it is not with the amount of stones in there - a shame.Reviewer Rating
