Proper golfers golf course
Park Wood recently hosted a Euro Pro tour event and you can see why it was chosen as such. This is a long, narrow, challenging golf course. The greens obviously were not as quick as when the tour event had been played but they were consistent and true. It's a good job they weren't quick as the greens are all very severely sloped, mainly from back to front. It is tree-lined and, save a couple fo holes, is very tight off the tee so you need your A game. One criticism is the bunkers - many appear to have been filled in recently and those that remain appear to have been greatly reduced in size, leaving more hazardous grassy slopes than the bunkers themselves. They also seem a bit lacking in sand in places.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 77 Handicap: 4.1)

A nice course with some variation. It's well looked after and the greens were playing very quickly.Reviewer Rating

Good Course/ Bad practise facilities
Park Wood was in great condition- fairways were lush and great to play on - rough was a long grass so no chance of finding your ball. Greens were in good condition. All that being said - there was no putting green which was mind boggling and the range had no balls which was even more frustrating, no nets to warm up. Frustrating is a good word for this course but still a good play(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 91 Handicap: 26.3)

Hidden Gem In Kent
This course has a lovely layout with no 2 holes the same it is tree lined and you would have to keep your ball on the fairway to score well.(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12)

ok
The layout i pretty good. The condition of the fairways was reasonable but the semi rough was pretty much shabbily cut with cuttings scattered on the surface. The rough was a real challenge.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 125 Handicap: 44)

Really good value
Played here as wanted to try a few local courses. From the reviews I was expecting some issues, however I thought the course was good and well kept. Some bits are under repair but on the whole it was a brilliant course for £25. Happily play there again.

Played the course on 23 May 2021. The condition of the course is poor. The worst I have played this year by a distance. It appears that maintenance is done on a budget and the management are hiding behind claims they are preparing the course for a Europro event. Fairways are not even up to first cut rough of the other courses I have played this year. Greens are very slow and cut very high. They are mainly flat though, the ball runs true. For the money this isn’t value and I won’t be back.Reviewer Rating

Have played here previously but this time the course looked like no maintenance had been carried out for a while. Greens were the worst we have played in a while, shame as this is a nice course

Post lockdown round
Have played this course a number of times and used to be a member when it first opened. I Have to say that's the course was in terrible condition. Greens were heavily sanded and fairways looked like they just had a first cut after the lockdown began in November. clearly nothing has been done to the course during closure and it showed, apart from some very obscured block paved paths that mostly leaded nowhere. Very disappointed for £35 during the week. Used to be a good trackReviewer Rating

Course condition
Played here on 3rd April 2021.....the course is in terrible condition terrible fairways and rubbish greens, considering we have been in lockdown and nobody has been playing the course you would think it would be in tip top condition! Also the overall appearance of the club is very scruffy I’ve played better and more impressive public courses!Reviewer Rating

Very Enjoyable Course
Played on a Sunday morning....booking a tee time was easy for our two ball. Course generally in very good condition. A number of challenging holes and to top it all hit 36 points which I was pleased with. Rough is quite forgiving and we only lost one ball between us. A good challenge for the average golf. Will definitely play here again.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course, Shocking Condition
Was looking forward to playing a new course and one that hosts a PGA euro pro tour event to boot. While the course has some interesting holes and is a decent challenge the current condition is awful. I've seen better conditioned 1st cuts of rough compared to the fairways here, they were truly in an awful state. Some of the greens were ok, but others were bobbly and there seems to be a disregard to repairing pitch marks. Like wise the tee boxes were scruffy, covered in divots and generally uneven. It looks and feels like a club on the way out or a lack of decent green keepersThis course should be so much better, and probably in previous seasons gone by it has, but it will take some effort to get this back into a decent playing condition. I played The Darenth 1-2 weeks earlier and the condition of the two courses is night and day.
I'd avoid playing Park Wood until they sort out the condition of the course, hopefully come 2021 they may have this back to a standard to which you would be happy to pay to play on but they will struggle to get this back in 2020.
