despite the maintenance recently of the greens they ran very well and as quite quick for the time of the year despite the early morning due.

Disappointing

Played here earlier in the year before the europro tour event and could see the effort put in to bring it up to scratch, 2nd visit was disappointing - some bunkers have little or no sand, it looks tatty around the edges and te fairways needed a good cut. All greens/t boxes hollow tined hence a reduced rate but work appeared to be a bit haphazard. Overall disappointed

Nice as always

Good course shame society in front was so slow, however greens in great shape and plenty of trick undulations to deal with.

played here today 31 august after not playing here for 5 years, course in very condition, 1 or 2 things though need attention , 1 only a few TEE MARKERS on some holes, and not many BALL CLEANERS, also directions to the next TEE need more attention, staff very friendly and polite no food yet due to covic. would highly recommend keep up the good work see you all very soon, ps the price is also very good.

Hadn't played here for a while. Course was in good condition though greens were a bit slow and I struggled with the pace of them all day. Quite a bit of rough has been trimmed back since I'd last been which was helpful but can still be tricky to find your ball even in the first cut as it sinks down a bit. Fairway grass also seemed quite long which was a bit off but might have been to protect from the wet summer so far. Course is a good length even off the yellows so favours a longer hitter. Clubhouse renovations were decent and food post round was nice. Worth a visit.

Course is local to me, so convenient. Really pretty, deceptively undulating and some great long holes. Just wish the course was kept in better condition. Grass on fairways and tees felt long, which as a new player was challenging. It was quiet - and club house lacking in atmosphere and food! Drinks and crisps the only offering mid afternoon!

Proper golfers golf course

Park Wood recently hosted a Euro Pro tour event and you can see why it was chosen as such. This is a long, narrow, challenging golf course. The greens obviously were not as quick as when the tour event had been played but they were consistent and true. It's a good job they weren't quick as the greens are all very severely sloped, mainly from back to front. It is tree-lined and, save a couple fo holes, is very tight off the tee so you need your A game. One criticism is the bunkers - many appear to have been filled in recently and those that remain appear to have been greatly reduced in size, leaving more hazardous grassy slopes than the bunkers themselves. They also seem a bit lacking in sand in places.

Definitely one to visit

A nice course with some variation. It's well looked after and the greens were playing very quickly.

Good Course/ Bad practise facilities

Park Wood was in great condition- fairways were lush and great to play on - rough was a long grass so no chance of finding your ball. Greens were in good condition. All that being said - there was no putting green which was mind boggling and the range had no balls which was even more frustrating, no nets to warm up. Frustrating is a good word for this course but still a good play

Hidden Gem In Kent

This course has a lovely layout with no 2 holes the same it is tree lined and you would have to keep your ball on the fairway to score well.
