So poor

This is the second time I have played this course in a month as I was playing in a golf day and wanted to see what the course was like. First time they changed ?35 on a Sunday not worth ?18 let alone ?35. The course was terrible greens shocking and fairways clay and thick mud. Played it yesterday and would not go back again. They layout was ok after the first 2 holes. Keep your money in your pocket on this one

Disappointing

Played here yesterday, it's in dire condition, avoid at all costs, clay muddy swamp ground, greens and practice facilities garbage, rally disappointing

Disappointed

I really like Maylands generally, however i was really disappointed with the course on this visit. I know the weather hasn't been kind but I have played a few courses in the area leading up to this game and Maylands was below the standards of the other courses that were half the price.

Disappointing day

The course has suffered like many others from lack of rain and it’s condition was poor with large cracks in fairways and the greens in very poor condition with bad fungal growth on most. The M25 is ever present and very noisy when near to it. The clubhouse was welcoming and friendly but the changing accommodation is cramped to say the least and there had been a flood from the showers which did not help. The course layout can be a bit confusing with some lengthy walks to tees but there are some good holes in between. Many deer seen which do not seem to damage the course unduly. Altogether disappointing and not a course I would easily return to.
