What the club says: A 6,196 yard par 70 course, Brentwood Golf Centre is located in a beautiful parkland setting offering an exciting, attractive landscape for all levels of play. On site you will find changing rooms, toilets and showers. An excellent golf shop is available offering the latest range of equipment and clothing for all golfers, plus golf tuition and advice is always on hand.

There arr no words..sometimes
Played as a group on a Saturday, charged full price . Yes we know there had been frozen conditions and Hartswood does not have great drainage so our expectations were low and we were not dissapointed...sadly.17 temporary greens... now as far as I'm concerned this means greens off the main course but in reasonable condition to play some sort of putt. These so-called temporaries had not work done on them at all around the golf hole.... no excuses
I understand the need to protect the course and then at least make it playable. We regularly play here and enjoy it but this was disgusting... a rip-off off really.

Very Wet

trees !!
At this well kept parkland course the trees dominate the golfing decisions taken by players. The trees often overhang the fairways so it is essential to position the drive and second shots clear of the trees to get a good shot at the green.Greens fairways and bunkers in fair condition .

Exceptional value for money
Brentwood (Hartswood) are in the process of doing course improvements and already in my opinion its the best condition course for the price in the area. The Course and Greenkeepers are making excellent progress. The greens are very true and in great condition, although some are slower than others, but still in excellent condition. The only down side with the course is currently are the Tee boxes and bunkers but these are next for improvements to be made. Also the Clubhouse should be more inviting to non members.Reviewer Rating

The bunkers need sand as currently no sand in any bunkers. Otherwise course in good condition.

Hartswood visit
Building work causing parking chaos and signs suggesting you need to pay for parking! You don't!! Refreshment facilities are part of the council development. Poor that you can't use the bar. Course in good condition, fairways have excellent grass coverage and greens were true, although a bit slow.Excellent well stocked pro shopReviewer Rating
