The course itself is in immaculate condition. The Greens are some of the best I have played on in the area-Very fast and more turn than some courses I have played. A variety of challenging holes mixed with some easier 1's. The par 3 8th is a great hole, but particularly tricky into the wind!!

Superb course,played courtesy round as green keeper however on a Wednesday you can play for the princely sum of £10..don't be fooled by price this is a true test of golf ,fast tricky greens especially on downhill putts,(try to leave yourself uphill putts where possible :-). ) excellent fairways, lovely par 3s stunning views, lucky it wasn't windy ,may be a bit harder then. Staff in proshop really helpful. Probably the best £10 you will ever spend .truly wonderful.

All round great course to play, although be prepared to get wind blown as quite high up in the hills and exposed. Played a few times now and always in good nick, green always true and fairly fast even in winter. Friendly staff in clubhouse and pro shop. Good value food and beer. What more do you want.

Absolutely loved this course. Definitely my favourite out of the Fylde/Preston area. Only negative was a few greens had a lot of sand on (not even from bunkers) which can really affect a good chip/putt. Despite this still love the course and cant wait to go back. Couldnt believe how dry it was especially when you look at the state of other courses in the area.

Good course but not at it's best
Played Longridge a few times now and always enjoy the course especially the views to be had on a clear day. Usual friendly welcome in pro shop and club house. Good breakfast. Course still recovering from harsh winter, quite wet in places. A few greens still being worked on but ran true enough. Once all work sorted will be back to normal great condition. Certainly well worth playing just for the views alone. Will keep coming back.Reviewer Rating

Longridge - Very Nice Views - difficult greens
Fantastic place u in the hills. Some steep slopes. Didn't like the shared green. Some interesting holes. But the greens were strange around the cups with some not so obvious slopesbends. As part of a 30+ group from a society, we all found putting near the hole hard.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 8.7)

As good as I remember

Amazing views
