What the club says: Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the Ribble Valley. The course is a fair test and measures 5974yds par 70, which might not seem very long but the greens are a true test of putting. If the wind blows it can play very like a links course and course management is vital.

Good course but not at it's best
Played Longridge a few times now and always enjoy the course especially the views to be had on a clear day. Usual friendly welcome in pro shop and club house. Good breakfast. Course still recovering from harsh winter, quite wet in places. A few greens still being worked on but ran true enough. Once all work sorted will be back to normal great condition. Certainly well worth playing just for the views alone. Will keep coming back.Reviewer Rating

Longridge - Very Nice Views - difficult greens
Fantastic place u in the hills. Some steep slopes. Didn't like the shared green. Some interesting holes. But the greens were strange around the cups with some not so obvious slopesbends. As part of a 30+ group from a society, we all found putting near the hole hard.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 8.7)

As good as I remember
its been a while since I played 18 here but it was well worth the wait. Everyone has been using the irregular breathes summer to get the course and fa iritis in top condition.Reviewer Rating

Amazing views

Superb

Nice course with great scenery
Always enjoy playing Longridge, especially on a clear day as get great views all around. Course always in good condition, greens had been top dressed but still ran quite true. Friendly welcome as always in pro shop and clubhouse.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 5.4)

Another great round with panoramic views
Fantastic course in excellent condition. No winter greens in use, only winter tees. Greens in good condition if not a little long and in need of a skin. Club pro is very helpful and knowledgeable. The course has some interesting and challenging holes 1, 8 & 17 being my favourites.The views from the course are fantastic and worth a visit for these alone! Friendly staff and members make this an excellent golfing experience

There was a lot f rain the night before we played, so the course was very wet, but not too boggy. Fairways still played ok. Nice course and would play again.

One of the best and hardest course I have played
You have to use your course management
The fairways are tight but fair and the greens are
Fast and true.you will have to be fit and up for a challenge.its one of those courses you must play.and if you make it round to the 19th for a drink and food you will not be disappointed

Lovely course with great views over the Ribble Valley. Tough fairways on most holes which makes a good tee shot extra important. Nice mix of holes. Great condition. 4 very hilly holes but apart from those it's a nice walk.

A lovely course, well laid out with some good tests of decision making over brute strength. Amazing views across the Ribble Valley, which I'd love to see in the summer.
The greens were in superb condition for mid Dec, as was the rest of the course.
I can image it being brutal if the wind gets up
