Since the Marriott have taken over it seems to have lost a little of its charm, whether it be the new hotel/clubhouse i am not sure. The course was empty when i played-5pm and only cost £15 as a twilight fee.
Since it had rained the course was lovely and green but i feel for a course that can be known to charge large green fees it was untidy and unkept! The bunkers whilst full of sand were not raked properly, the fairways were badly cut in and had no shape and the fringes were average-its annoying to see as with some focus and professionalism the course would be fantastic.
The Greens are a little course and do not brake much which i like and they were in really good nick.
Overall for £15 i was very happy, anymore and i would have been feeling a touch dissappointed. If you are planning to play and being told £40+ a round go somewehere else!

Not very impressed
I've played here twice when it's been raining and it was not very good at all. Ground was slippery the fairways weren't cut but the greens were ok. Wouldn't play here again in wet weather conditionsReviewer Rating
