The course was in great condition, and it was easily the best of the small group of courses I played last year. My friends and I had a great holiday here, and I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent value
My first round at this course. I played mid afternoon and the course wasn't very busy. The greens in particular were in excellent condition. It is easy to ruin your score on some holes which are quite tight. It is fairly hilly in places and there were many people out walking their dogs on the many paths that cross the fairways. This did not distract from a very pleasant round.Reviewer Rating

Great round!
Had a great round today at Lingfield Was very sceptical at first due to previous reviews but glad I ignored them! We were told the course was in bad condition before but that was due to a management changeover The greens were very good although mostly frozen but the ball was rolling nice and true fairways were in good condition so seemed the bunkers although again mostly frozen The course is tree lined so there are plenty of leaves in the rough which can make it time consuming looking for balls if you go off line The layout of the course is very difficult in these winter conditions if your not precise with some very tight and long holes off of the backs There are some nice views over the hills We paid £31 on TeeOffTimes for a 10am tee off which I thought was pretty reasonable given it was a weekend Club house is nice with decent food and prices Good service at the bar and friendly pro with a very good practice area Overall a good day out! Lovely course in good condition. There isn't much room for error with tight fairways and small ish greens but made a nice change. Not every tee shot is drivers good course management is needed
