Always a difficult course
My local course, the first 2 holes are a good warm up for what is a the most difficult park of the course - holes 3 to 5 make life very difficult for you. Entering the woods you will almost certainly lose balls as a amateur. If you manage to find the fairway the trees have sucked all the moisture out so your playing off hard ground. Get through those three holes and your golden. Opens up and becomes very enjoyable. A little more attention to the fairway conditions and I’d enjoy it even more(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.5)

Good course, difficult conditions
The course plays well, nice and challenging pin locations. Conditions on the day were extremely difficult due to waterlogged fairways and greens.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 107 Handicap: 17.5)

Tough Track
Tough track. Some very tight holes which make it interesting. Feel it has gone downhill a bit but very reasonable price through tee off times & nice hotel.Reviewer Rating

Hard work for the higher handicapper
Second time played at Lingfield - enjoyed it although it's a difficult course for the higher handicapper. Very tight fairways and trees and undergrowth close by on the early holes. Watch out for hole 3 in particular - very challenging. Some areas rather muddy, but not unreasonable for the time of year. Greens true and fair, although there are some signs of fungus growth on some of them. Bunkers good. Clubhouse and practice facilities spot on. Pace of play not too bad. A nice day's golf.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 107 Handicap: 25.7)

Good potential.
The course could be good but the greens were the equivalent of fairways on a lot of course. Everything needed a cut.Reviewer Rating

Great deal venue
Excellent value from golf breaks, 2 rounds over 2 days. Good course in good condition, not enough buggies available though(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 120 Handicap: 28)
