Not sure it?s value for money
Bunkers are awful & have been all year, owner is more interested in making money from weddings than golf. Looks like some green have been ridden over by quad bikes by bloody hooligans.Reviewer Rating

Not the cheapest course to play , why is there no sand in the bunkers ? Why was there no mashalls out on the course until we rang the clubhouse about the slow play ? We are a society who play every weekend and have regularly visited this course in the past , despite a recent break we decided to return and were very disappointed . Don't spoil what has always been a great course to play

Very slow round and there are very few ball cleaners around only three on the course.

Looks better than you think
1st time back since lockdown. 1st time not in winter BUT greens weren't as fast as described pre round & fairways & rough had plenty of scope for poor lies. Bunkers were lottery as to which had sand. Maybe a poor round tainted my view but maybe not. Some may note that one player was wearing a tee shirt, & we also had a character disbelieve an errant ball wasn't his despite some very clear marking suggesting the opposite.Reviewer Rating

Disappointed
Website states well drained, open all year course. The mud on my trolley was the worst I've ever seen, The course is suffering serious damage from badgers and crows which I can accept but, paying full price l think is unfair. Most of the tee boxes and greens are roped off making play very slow with the trolley. As you can't book online and forced to phone, the proshop should have given a better picture of course condition.Reviewer Rating
