Wow Definitely On the Hit List
Great winter courseFirst time at Pedham Place despite living 10 minutes away and passing the course on the way to play elsewhere. Reminiscent of a links course although there was very little rough or danger when you go off line. Good confidence booster for high handicappers (like me) as poor shots aren?t fatally punished. Despite the hugely wet December and November the course was dry underfoot with no standing water or waterlogged patches unlike many other courses at the moment.
Friendly staff and great practice facilities with the shot tracker screens in the practice bays, making range practice more interesting. One negative was the slow pace of play which I?m told isn?t the norm here. Loo
Good conditionCourse in very good condition given recent rain. Fairways playable, greens very slick. If you get a nice day with only a bit of wind, this is a no brainer.

Good CourseReally impressed with Pedham. I would imagine when the rough is at its worse it would be very tough. Great and interesting holes, greens are amazing i had a fantastic day out and will play again.
Great little gemI've always thought for a public course you can't go wrong with Pedham. Always reasonably priced (compared to others) with so cracking holes. The added bonus of it being a good winter course with only real severe weather causing it to shut. Just take a jumper as it's usually a tad windy. Good test for all golfers but on it's day can play pretty easy.
Worth a look !Played Pedham in a weekend society just after a lot of rain over a few days. Course was in great nick. Good tees, very good fairways and excellent green. Greens were fast and very undulating. Lots of quirky holes here that need a bit of thought. Quite unusual as there were 5 par 5s and 5 par 3s which was good as I struggle on par 4s. The par 5s were not long so reachable for the bombers. The course is very linksy in feel with humps and bumps all over the place. The fairways were generally very wide with not many trees about. Lots of bunkers around and I found most of them. Good amount of soft sand in the bunkers. Quite a bit of OB also so cutting the corners can be costly as it was for me. I had a pretty poor 23pts and came last. The winner on the day was an immpresive 43pts so a good score can be had. I live 35 mile away but great access up the M25 took only 40 mins. Beer quite good at less than £4 a pint . Nice breakfast too. Will defo go up again. Have been told that they grow the rough up for summer and the wind can blow hard up the valley like fairways.
Great course, great conditionGreat course. Defended by the wind and bunkers as there are no other hazards except the pond at the 18th.
Always at least a breeze about as there's nothing in the way at all.
Perfect training course if you're going to play a links.
Greens are in superb condition despite the amount of use they get.
Pace of play can sometimes be an issue (usually on Saturdays) but not often.
Value for money mid-week is superb,
In addition they have Top Tracer on about half of the range bays (brilliant for gapping your clubs or for a rainy day), a very good par three course and two practice greens.

Enjoyable roundRegular visitor to the course, challenging holes, well kept greens and fairways and the bunkers actually contain sand which is a nice touch these days!! Fabulous views out to central London and great value for money.
Staff are friendly and the 19th is well priced, excellent driving range to warm up on.
Greens very true and quickishFor a links course a bit too much grass at times on the fairway. But this is inland links so you can expect that. Wind did its bit to 'help' the scores along. All in all course playing nice.
