Very good and well kept course

Nice facility?s including a top tracer driving range and 9 hole par 3, the 18 hole championship course provides ease of the tee with its large sloping mounds generally bringing any slightly errant tee shots back on play?.however any wider than that and you can be playing any number of blind shots in the hope of reaching one of the many raised greens. Greens also protected with many bunkers and run off areas, all are well watered and still receptive considering the current heatwave. Plenty of dog legs and holes with various gradients to work out all in all a well maintained and thought out course. Very reasonably priced.

Note: pace of play generally feels slow as you are generally waiting on the tee boxes, however this is generally because it's tough to lose balls so even with that 4 hours is par for the course.

Most enjoyable

Played there a few years ago, really enjoyed going back and whilst it was dry (is'nt everywhere !) the course is playing well, the greens are great and it is super inland links

Tough today with strong winds. Tee boxes baked but greens well maintained and watered allowing opportunities to hit green, wind permitting

Good course, tricky in the wind

Course is baked hard and on a windy day the ball can travel a long way, which makes it tough to hit greens. Overall in good condition and still value for money compared with other local courses.

Challenging for all handicaps, wind is the course defence and boy does it blow. Tidy layout, greens could be slightly quicker. Clubhouse decent and staff friendly

In fine fettle.

Considering the rain before and the threat of rain the course was in very good condition and the wind was doing its best to make the game tricky. I could not get used to the greens until the 2nd 9. Bunkers still damp but rest of the course good.

Links style course in great condition at the time we played. A number of holes have a blind dog leg so the green is not visible from the tee. Makes for an interesting challenge.

Slow play nightmare

I've played Pedham a few times last year, but mainly twilight rounds. This was my first time teeing off at 1pm and it took us 5 hours to get round. Stopped at every hole by a 2 ball in front who were closed up behind a 3 ball, who themselves were behind another 2 ball.

So Slow

Nice track but time and time again let down by the poor management in the front office. Tee times ridiculous close together, had to give up after the first 9 due to slow play. This isn’t the first time either - ruined the day. Don’t put a 20 group society out on midday on a saturday .

Far too much slow play. 4 balls not allowing quicker groups to go through. As there are no marshals on the course this will always be the case
