Worth a look !

Played Pedham in a weekend society just after a lot of rain over a few days. Course was in great nick. Good tees, very good fairways and excellent green. Greens were fast and very undulating. Lots of quirky holes here that need a bit of thought. Quite unusual as there were 5 par 5s and 5 par 3s which was good as I struggle on par 4s. The par 5s were not long so reachable for the bombers. The course is very linksy in feel with humps and bumps all over the place. The fairways were generally very wide with not many trees about. Lots of bunkers around and I found most of them. Good amount of soft sand in the bunkers. Quite a bit of OB also so cutting the corners can be costly as it was for me. I had a pretty poor 23pts and came last. The winner on the day was an immpresive 43pts so a good score can be had. I live 35 mile away but great access up the M25 took only 40 mins. Beer quite good at less than £4 a pint . Nice breakfast too. Will defo go up again. Have been told that they grow the rough up for summer and the wind can blow hard up the valley like fairways.

Played Today. Beautiful weather, no wind which makes the course play easier, can imagine it being very tough in high winds but lovely true links course. Really enjoyed my round. Most of the par 5's are reachable in 2 with a good drive which is good fun. But don't miss the fairways or you will be in trouble. Great positioned bunkers which really make you question club choice off the tee. And if you're someone who wants all info you can on each hole; purchase the yardage book for £4 in clubhouse, most in depth (yardage, contours, tips) yardage book I've ever had at a course and makes the round 10x easier as there's a lot of dog legs. If you are brave enough to go after the narrow greens you can reap the rewards. Great value for £20 a round after 1pm! I can't wait to give it a go in the winter with softer greens and fairways!

A new course built on reclaimed land, more impressive than expected. Play if you like dog-legs!

Greens fast and true for this time of year

After all the rain in '24 its good to see an island course that drains so well and is looking so good in late March. The wind obviously helps. Can't fault the course conditions

Great for the wet months

Played there before and after so much rain recently the fairways and greens were in a great condition. It was ?33 with no concessions and the food/drink options were ok too.

Top condition

Rain or shine, winter, spring or summer always great condition with excellent greens.Only downside is pace of play really would benefit from course marshal speeding up pace of play as no excuse as not a lot of hazards on the course.

Good course but slow play

Pedham place is generally a great place to play golf all year round as it drains extremely well and the driving range and putting/chipping greens are of a very good standard. Generally banked fairways either side it is rare that you lose a tee shot meaning pace of play should be good?.however this never seems to be the case, always slow and extremely rare to be let through by any group playing no matter the gap in front. I believe some of the issue especially later in the round revolves around the 16th hole, playing at around 200 yards (most of the time into wind) it's a great test of golf, however the vast majority of golfers cannot reach this green but will still wait for the green to clear in case they hit their 1/100 shot?.this then means that you end up with a bottle neck and end up with between 2 and 3 groups of golfers waiting on the tee box to hit. When they put their prices up recently I was hoping we would see a larger gap than 7 minutes between tee times but sadly this is not the case?.a little more thought into marshalling on the first tee to make sure people don't tee of early, around the course to ensure pace of play then this course is well worth the money but currently a frustrating course standing in the cold lashing wind.

Still in great condition, despite the downpour

The course always plays well and is very well maintained.
Even the heavy downpour for 4 holes couldn't dampen the enjoyment

Great considering the weather

Course is in very good condition given the winter we've had. Greens still relatively quick if a little bumpy but fairways excellent. Well done to the greenkeeping staff in maintaining the course through the wet...
