Course holding up well given recent weather, especially the greens. Stunning views, plenty of space on the course, every lie possible... uphill, downhill, sideways! Rather hilly could be an understatement but it's well worth playing. Clubhouse offers great value for money food and a good atmosphere, pro shop very helpful.

Played this course quite a few times during the year, 27 holes so plently of variety, the greens have been consistantly good, especially on the blues course. Well worth the walk up hills to get the stunning views. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Great value for money and brilliant all day breakfast in the clubhouse. Well worth a visit.

Played for £10 on a Tuesday, Blue and Yellow courses. Good variety of holes in good nick, found the greens lightning quick. Quite exposed to cold wins (hence the name) and hilly so a challenge!

Cold Ashby has 3 nine hole courses so allows you to a play different 18 holes of golf each time. It is set in some fantastic Northamptonshire country side with some spectacular views. The club house is new and worth a visit. The course itself is a good test but not for the unfit. There are some steep hills which can by tiring. A trolley is recommended. The staff are alway pleasant and because of the course location does not get over busy during the week. Well recommended.

A hard course with all the hills involved, but some nice holes, choice of three 9 hole courses to play to make up your round so you can always choose not to play cardiac hill!!!

3 sets of nine. Can get very windy. The greens are excellent, and the course is regularly used by the PGA for qualifiers!

Tight & Hilly

A well hidden course that's not overly long but that compensates for that with blind tee shots, narrow fairways and some steep inclines. Greens weren't in great condition for the time of year and the signage around the course is a bit lacking, so knowing where you're going if it's your first round is tricky. But overall an enjoyable course with friendly staff and well worth playing.

An ideal course to visit.

A course offering a great variety of holes in quiet a hilly setting. Set in open countryside with some stunning views. Staff have always been friendly. In very windy conditions it could be really challenging.

Society Day

Played in a society Day and found this to be one of the worst courses I have ever played.
Fairways and tee areas acceptable however greens were absolutely diabolical. Covered in bare patches and bobbles. Would not return
