What The Club Says
Located on the outskirts of the town, there is a challenging 18 hole golf course set in rolling countryside on the south Leicestershire and north Northamptonshire border.The Club has a reputation for being very friendly and welcoming and new members soon feel very much a part of the Club.

Wow, tough but beautiful
A wow, but tough and beautiful course at the same time. In very good condition from tee to greens, which were slopey and quick. Fantastic welcome to a great clubhouse. The staff were very friendly and the catering was exceptional. The only downside was the poor weather. A cracking visit to a lovely course.Reviewer Rating

Nice venue
A nice venue with a welcoming staff on arrival. Food was good as was the well stocked shop. Clubhouse is excellent as are the facilities. The course isn't too bad but having had recent work on the green they weren't the best and slow. The tees also needed a little bit of work. Great views, a good challenge with 2 differing loops of 9 holes, hilly for some but very enjoyable. Happy to recommend and will return.Reviewer Rating

Society day.
A warm reception from the lady in the shop and equally from the gent running the bar, although the four members that came in, spoke and treated him were disgusting!That aside the bacon cob was awesome. The course was in impressive shape, greens had recovered from work and will be challenging for the rest of the year. A friend commented that some of the bunkers were a bit bare (I never found one) Quite a hilly place (buggy recommended if fitness is an issue) A great selection of par 3?s, you don't need long ones with interesting greens. Overall, definitely in my top 5 Leicestershire courses

Excellent views
Excellent views and a very picturesque course in great condition. Super quick, true and large greens made the round interesting and enjoyable. Some tricky tee shots where accuracy is required and a good up and down walk for the 6000 yards off the whites. A little water came into play on a few holes, which again had you thinking about club selection. Practice facilities as indeed the clubhouse and shop were very good. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the catering was of a high standard.Reviewer Rating

A must play course
I've heard very good reviews and comments about this course, but never actually played there before. It was chosen as a halfway point between myself and my playing partner, he lives in Northampton. I live in Leicester. We were blessed with sunny dry conditions, however, the wind thought it would Blow a little to make the course a lot more challenging. Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly pro shop assistant who pointed us in the right direction, and as first time players of the course we were offered to start before a fourball who were only doing nine holes, but we elected to follow them as course guidance (quite a rarity among members).All I can say is the elements beat me here today. The fairways were in tiptop condition some rough spots on the greens, but they are being sorted out, and all I can say is what a pleasure and a gem this place is. Although it is hilly , I didn't feel it was too taxing a walk as a few other courses in the area. The scenery and views were just stunning and very well kept golf course which myself and my partner decided we would return to again hopefully less wind next time round.
