What the club says: Kibworth boasts a picturesque parkland setting, within the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. Mature native trees line the 18 hole, par 71, 6,363 yard course. With a meandering stream crossing eigth holes, you'll be given a challenging but fair test of golf regardless of age or ability. The course is laid out in two loops of nine, each terminating at the Clubhouse, which makes it ideal for members wanting to play a quick nine or societies who wish to play a friendly Texas Scramble in the morning before a competitive 18 in the afternoon.

Beautiful but tight in places
A beautiful course set in lovely open countryside surroundings but very tight in places. You need to hit straight drives on some holes and avoid the small amount of water to get the best out of the venue. Lovely clubhouse, shop and facilities. The welcome was excellent, as was the catering and bar. A great visit, good value for money, happy to recommend and want to return again. The greens were super quick and inReviewer Rating

Very pleasant & underrated!
Played here yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed it! Very pleasant staff in their office, nice welcome from the Pro. I hadn’t been here for 50 years (!) but just about managed to remember some holes! It’s a strategic course, you can’t just blast it anywhere, deceptively tricky. Chipping was difficult as ball settles down in lush semi rough just off some greens. Good greens, green staff were working hard on the course. If I lived near Kibworth I would happily be a member there, that’s my biggest compliment!????Reviewer Rating

Great society day
Had a society day here. Course is quite pricey but whole deal made it reasonable. Played mid Oct, start of winter rules - course was still in excellent condition. Greens a tad soft after rain, but still in good shape and with good pace.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 19.7)

Ver pleasant course
Course is situated in what feels like the heart of Leicester countryside. I approached from the south (from Kilworth direction) and it is nothing but fields, horse riders and milk lorries. so set up a real feeling of being off the beaten track! The course is totally flat, and most fairways are tree lined forcing you to be straight. Fairly featureless course but some really good holes like the tight dog leg 5th was a really good hole. There are a few 300 yard par 4's which are really good and pretty tough!
The best feature of the course is the greens which are immaculate and run so true. Some of the best i can recall (as good as Enville!). But most are very flat, however the greens on 12 has a sever slope and the undulations on 16 are marvellous.
Overall it is a nice course and not overly challenging. My playing partner is a memeber and often plays as a warm up before playing a match!
Pace was quite slow at times but not that bad (4 hours for a 4 ball) as there was a comp on.
Friendly clubhouse staff.

great days golf
we were all very impressed with the course ,it is quite unusual, varied and most interesting.considering the drought in good condition too.
it would however be remiss of me not to mention the bar staff who were all lovely ,i think most golf courses and businesses in general underestimate the positive impression that could staff give.
thank you all once again ,cant wait to come back !

Playing great
Considering no rain for past couple of weeks the greens hold very well, the fairways true, and although a different game with no green to cushion fairway shot , the course played very well and true.Greensite Bunkers need attention though

Unfriendly, elitist, out of touch
Berated by the club secretary prior to our fourball at the weekend for the crime of having the 'wrong' shorts on. Grown men spoken to like naughty school boys, took the shine of our round. This type of elitist snobbery is what turns people off golf. We won't be back again.Reviewer Rating

Although mostly flat there is great variety in how the holes play and several are true dog-legs.
Very pleasant members , welcoming pro-shop , impressive clubhouse lounge.
Overall a good day out and and a course I will return to again , certainly one of the better courses that I have played in Leicester.
