What The Club Says
Glen Gorse is a very attractive mature parkland course of 6,648 yards from the Medal tees with a par and SSS of 72. Considered as one of the more exacting tests of golfing ability in Leicestershire, the strategically placed trees encountered on every hole mean that the straight hitter will extract the most reward from their round.

GUR
Like many clubs they have started to do works due to the hot summer, a lot of gur infront of the greens but this didn't ruin the experience and glad they're working on it now ready for next year.Reviewer Rating

Lovely venue
A lovely venue for a round of golf. Played in a friendly competition and was made very welcome,. The course itself is a good challenge and in very good condition. Excellently maintained bunkers and a picturesque vista made the visit very enjoyable. Catering was exceptional as was the hospitality. A well stocked shop, great clubhouse and facilities too. Happy to recommend and looking forward to a return trip.Reviewer Rating

Nice parkland course
Nice parkland course offering a varied layout which will be enjoyable for all level of golfer. Good mix of holes, decent condition and friendly staff and members, plus great value. Not overly challenging but fun to play and reasonable condition when we visited in November. Having some minor maintenance work on one hole to improve drainage but no real impact and simply reduced one hole to a par 3.Reviewer Rating

A truly lovely venue
A truly lovely venue with a well established tree lined course. A few water hazards and well placed bunkers make the round interesting to say the least. Plays longer than you think from the card and some very pretty holes too. Very good condition, nice true greens and a pleasure to play. Decent shop, excellent clubhouse and food. The welcome for visitors was also very good. Enjoyed the day.Reviewer Rating
