What the club says: Kilworth Springs was established in 1993 and overlooks the beautiful Avon Valley in South Leicestershire. The championship course measures 6,718 yards, par 72. Kilworth Springs is a superbly sculptured links style course offering all the best features and facilities for a great days golf. The front nine offers a traditional links challenge, whilst the back nine, with its numerous lakes, adds water to the equation.

Never played before but want an excellent surprise. Lovely welcoming bustling club that is also under going a few clubhouse updates which is great to see.
The course is very much a course of 2 halves. The front 9 is pleasing on the eye and presents what looks like a fairly easy set of holes but don't be fooled with the tight fairways and rough you can easily be misled. The holes are varied with some nice undulation given parts of the course were previously quarried but this doesn't cause undulation in your stance given the clever design layout, the 6th is a lovely par 3 downhill.
The back 9 changes slightly with the introduction of water on several of the holes. Again you are presented with well manicured holes, greens in excellent condition and the added addition to the thought process of the water. The 18th finishes with another nice par 3 playing over water.
Kilworth Springs is a lovely friendly course and definitely worth visiting, the only negative comment I could make is that the bunkers (I only went in 2), seemed to be lacking sand and did have a few stones. This however is something I would imagine they will be maintaining over the season ahead and it wouldn't stop be going back in fact I wouldn't hesitate to play again!

Difficult to asses because of weather conditions
(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 17.5)
Next tee markers required between 9 and 10 and 11 and 12 apart from that excellent course
Played 12th May for my brothers prostate cancer fund raising competition great day, great course.
(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 99 Handicap: 27)
Links style course with driving range, poor quality balls, chipping and putting greens with bunker no pitching/short game area.
The course was in excellent condition but greens needed another few weeks growth to putt nicely. so a bit bobbly and offered no confidence.
Fairway excellent, bunkers are a let down very compacted and hard panned.
nice layout and always a tough 1/2 club wind in either direction
First team match: food was excellent can't fault the lamb shank.

Course was in good playable condition despite all the weather over the past couple of months. Greens a bit bobbly but all in all a good challenging course.

This is a great course for all handicap players. A course of two halfs, the front nine plays like a links course with the back nine more like an American target golf course with lots of water. Plays great in winter due to its sandy soil but this also leads to it being very firm and fast in summer. Only downside is the appalling pace of play from the some of the membership groups that have there roll ups. This course should be done in 3.5 hours as a fourball get stuck behind the dodders and you will be out for almost 5 !

The course was playing reasonably well, considering the recent snow and heavy rain we have had. The only thing letting it down at present was some damage around some greens, and tee areas. This is caused by crows searching for food. In general though, the course was in great shape for this time of year.

This is my favourite course and never fails to disappoint even in the cold early days of December. Fairways well drained, and greens still playing true. An open but challenging course with deep rough....beware!

The course was in very good condition even though the greens had been aerated and the second cut was a bit too deep.
