What The Club Says
The course is an exciting 18 hole parkland course, with no two holes the same. The course favours accuracy rather than big hitting, especially when considering the water problems talked about above and after a Professional event in 2006 the professionals considered our 18th as being a most difficult finishing hole in the area, maybe that’s why it is called the Wrecker, and the 9th, a par three of 238 yards, falls into the same category.

Cool Golf course
Cool golf course with an exciting layout! Enjoyed the challenge of the holes despite the shorter holes.Reviewer Rating

We played here as part of a society day and we were made to feel welcome by all the bar staff. This was my first time playing here, so I was really looking forward to playing it. After being informed that holes 10 & 11 were playing off temporary greens because of a hydraulic fluid leak. For this the gave us reduced fees. The course itself is possibly one of the best picturesque places I have played. My criticism would be how close and on top of the next or prior fairways resulting in numerous shouts of fore. Our group had a ball hit us twice . This is the reason I didn't enjoy the course and why I wouldn't return. It just wasn't relaxing for me.

Excellent
Second time here and a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Course in excellent condition with the truest greens I have putted on all year. A great variety of holes with a premium being placed on accuracy from the tee. If I had one complaint it is that the catering facilities do not appear to be available to those who start early. We finished our round at 10.45am on a Friday and, as with our last visit, found the bar area locked so that we couldn’t even use the coffee machine. Despite that, I’ll certainly be back.Reviewer Rating

Really enjoyable
Played for the first time today despite living locally and I will certainly be back. Not long by modern standards, but a really good layout in fantastic condition. Small greens, lots of water hazards and tight fairways mean accuracy is a must but good scoring is possible. Several holes cross over one another so I would imagine when it’s busy that could be a little problematic but otherwise thoroughly enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Not happy
Played here recently as a paying player. I used to be a corporate member but didn't renew due to playing restrictions from the club. After a pleasant round I went to the bar with my bar card to pay foe a round of drink, only to be told my card had been cancelled and the ?30+ on it had been wiped from the memory as I was no longer a member. The course will get my money but the club won'tReviewer Rating
