What the club says: The course is an exciting 18 hole parkland course, with no two holes the same. The course favours accuracy rather than big hitting, especially when considering the water problems talked about above and after a Professional event in 2006 the professionals considered our 18th as being a most difficult finishing hole in the area, maybe that’s why it is called the Wrecker, and the 9th, a par three of 238 yards, falls into the same category.

Really enjoyable
Played for the first time today despite living locally and I will certainly be back. Not long by modern standards, but a really good layout in fantastic condition. Small greens, lots of water hazards and tight fairways mean accuracy is a must but good scoring is possible. Several holes cross over one another so I would imagine when it’s busy that could be a little problematic but otherwise thoroughly enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Course is in great condition considering the recent dry spell. Far better condition than other local alternative courses played within the past few weeks.

Not happy
Played here recently as a paying player. I used to be a corporate member but didn't renew due to playing restrictions from the club. After a pleasant round I went to the bar with my bar card to pay foe a round of drink, only to be told my card had been cancelled and the ?30+ on it had been wiped from the memory as I was no longer a member. Lovely course with some challenging holes; a good test for all abilities.

Nice Course
A very undulating course with some long fairways, it needs concentration as fairways do cross each other and they have done well to fit a full 18 into a small space with some good length holes as well as some challenging par 3's, all in a very nice course with some stunning views across the course, the 10th tee is particularly pretty with a big down hill tee shot(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 110 Handicap: 30)

Lovely course in a tight setting
A lovely course and layout in a tight setting. A few overlapping tees and greens but well worth a visit. Very friendly staff and cracking food. Great value.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 17.8)

Rugby golf course is very well looked after. Staff are always hospitable. Members are welcoming and friendly too.
