What a great golf course with stunning views across the countryside.

Played two of the 9 hole courses though can't remember which! An enjoyable experience, course standard is like a sound municipal in terms of quality and care. The greens had just been aerated so rather bumpy. Some very interesting holes and the hills provide some challenging lies. It is a very forgiving course and quite short with a number of par 4s that are driveable. Beautiful views surround the course. Members were very warm, welcoming, polite and friendly which sadly is not the case at all courses these days. Whilst I have played on much better quality courses I loved the feel of the place, the unusual challenges and it was excellent value for money. I had a buggy and despite being a relatively fit 45 year old I was glad that I did. I shall definately return.

Nice course with superb views. some realy nice tee shots like the par 3 3rd 2000 yards downhill, what a shot! club house a bit dated but the course makes up for it!

This course has 3 sets of 9 holes. All are cleverly crafted and the greens have elusive subtleties. The Elkington course is somewhat intimidating if you cannot drive straight. All courses in great condition and the £10 all day price on Tuesdays is a real bargain. The clubhouse is very friendly and must do the best chips in Northamptonshire.

A great day out, the greens were in fabulous condition. Theres 27 holes, we played the red and blue courses, a bit hilly on a hot day but gosh - what great views to take in while you catch your breath!

Cold Ashby is a fabulous, if challenging course. Having 3 separate 9 holes means you can always get a game. Everyone is exceptionally friendly, pro's, staff, other players and new members are always made welcome. There is a fabulous ladies drop in coffee morning on Thursdays which provides excellent coaching from the pros and is brilliant value for money.

I've been a member here twenty years and absolutely love the place. As with all courses the conditions change throughout the year but this adds to the challenge, it's always good fun to take guests along and see their reactions as this is not just another flat tree lined course! The friendliness of Cold Ashby takes some beating and with 27 holes the value of membership is superb.

An ideal course to visit.
A course offering a great variety of holes in quiet a hilly setting. Set in open countryside with some stunning views. Staff have always been friendly. In very windy conditions it could be really challenging.Reviewer Rating
