Interesting varied layout
A well designed course with each hole setting a different challenge. A lot of work in the early season has paid off with very good greens and fairways, some work needs to be done to improve the unlevel tees andBunkers some are GUR, drainage is a problem in the winter. In the summer season the popularity to societies and visitors result in very slow rounds, perhaps priority to members up to noon would assist.

Great challenge of Golf
Some great shaped holes and a challenge to shape shots where necessary. Good condition all round except for some of the Tees which were place in front of the Ladies tees which were not mentioned before the start of our round.Reviewer Rating

Hidden gem
We traveled to cobtree manor golf course on 25th may after playing in January and the transformation the spring has made is impressive the course is in great condition and is very picturesque no boring holes and the views from the tee box seems to get better every hole the only negative is the clubhouse needs modernisation staff were great and welcoming it could do with a larger practice area away from the 1st tee but overall definitely worth a visit especially in the summerReviewer Rating

A lovely walk
I always feel at peace when playing Cobtree. The way the holes flow around the course is very comforting. Not too long, but you still need to keep the ball in play.At present being the beginning of Spring and having a full month of rain in April, the fairways are not cut to standard height and the rough is nigh unplayable, which causes golfers to lose alot of balls. The greens are also quite slow, but have a nice sheen on them.

Still under the weather
Unfortunately I think it has been a long wet winter for Cobtree and the course which is normally in fine fettle in May still has many areas that are waterlogged.Reviewer Rating

Better than it was a couple of years ago
Played here recently, I vowed to never return here a couple of years ago but heard things have improved from.a friend so we decided to give it a go. looking at other reviews I thought most were fair but for the price I was more than happy! one reviewer said some fairways were wet underfoot and some frozen.... well it is winter!!!!!!!!!you can tell the course has suffered with neglect over the years but looking at some of the other courses Mytime run it's no surprise, shame really.
I'll be back in the summer when things dry out... or defrost lol

Acceptable course for winter golf
Cobtree maintains their course to an acceptable standard considering the winter conditions, winter mats, greens are puttable and mostly fair. Fairways are still wet underfoot and sometimes frozen.Reviewer Rating
