What The Club Says

Cobtree Manor Park Golf Course is located on the outskirts of Maidstone and is very easy to find being just seconds off the the M20. It's easy to see why this venue is one of the most visited courses in Kent, with a stunning 18-hole layout, USGA-specification greens and welcoming Clubhouse with a large decking area adjacent to the 18th green.

The course was built in the 1960s amongst rolling parkland, with several water features integrated into the design of the holes.

All booked via app, some of the fairways have suffered over the summer, like most places, the 3rd especially so, with the drainage channels opening up a lot, a ball disappeared down one never to be seen again. I thought the greens were excellent, holding the ball. The food was limited on this visit, the rolls in the fridge didn't look appetising. The staff were friendly and on the ball. Good value for money, we will return.

Course in reasonable condition considering the lack of rain we have had. The 3rd hole is awful since drainage works have been undertaken. All of the trenches need re-filling. It is a health and safety hazard walking along this fairway.

Tricky with new drainage works and poor lies due to heatwaves killing the fairways greens are in good condition.

Good layout , good shaped holes . Greens are good . Good challenge of golf . Winter can be mucky but staff. Have put in multiple drainage ditches . Hopefully this will make the course more playable in winter??

Drainages

Condition of the course is average as the drainage ditches have to heal .. a lot of bareness surrounding the greens. Overall it is a well shaped course but in need of a lot of TLC. Greens are slow at the moment but true . Always a challenge and course management is paramount.

Greens in pretty good condition but slow. Hard to tell the fairways from the rough. The bunkers could do with topping up with sand.
