Despite some confusion over the email booking we made our four-ball managed to start around 12.30 on a saturday for sixteen pounds each.
The greens were excellent and the course is a fair test.

Not the most interesting course but a good challenge for most golfers. Quite bare thanks to recent dry weather and in some cases very little grass on fairway / in rough, but overall pretty good and worth a play at £25 during the week.

Great value, I played this week and thought the course was in superb condition. I was nearly put off by previous reviews I am glad I wasn't, having played the course once again I thought they were very unfair. The staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming.

Wow! What great value for money. I played last week and the course was superb, the greens and fairways were great. I enjoyed the test and will be coming back to play in the near future. I was made very welcome by the Pro shop and the bar staff, great atmosphere, the beer was good too.

I play the course regularly and some of the recent reviews about the condition of the course are unfair. The course is in excellent condition and the greens superb. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating. The layout is challenging and requires you to bring your best game, great value for money for a visitor.

The course is in superb condition, the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming.
The greens and course are very well presented, it is well maintained and cared for.

I played the course last year and found the greens inconsistent this year there has been a big improvement the course looks 100 times better and cared for know greens are fast and smooth.
Talking to members they have changed there head green keeper and this has made the difference.
I hope to go back there again this year try it you will love it

Greens were rock hard, and bumpy. Tee-boxes uneven and fairways ok.

If i were a member i'd be demanding my money back!
Some tee boxes were just dust, hardly any grass. Others scrappy and long grass length. All greens were worse than most pay and play courses... sandy holes all over where pitch mark repair appears non-existent year round.
Very few staff seen working on the course but grass cuttings left all over the tee boxes, fairways and greenside edges. Even grass cuttings in the 'snad lacking' bunkers.
Not first time i've found the course in very poor condition thus will not be playing here again, EVER! A real shame as staff very friendly and course looks great, from a distance...
