Fantastic course, not hilly ideal for seniors . Greens are the best I have played so far, very well kept and fast, although the green are small each has its unique signature highly recommend for any handicap .
Pro shop has all essential for any golfer needs, very friendly staff.

Superb

We played with our society at Cherry Lodge today and from the time we walked in the staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and motivated. We had an excellent full English breakfast which we were able to collected directly from the kitchen so we could see what was actually being cooked and we could individually choose whatever variation we liked. (How many Golf clubs do this?) The club facilities were excellent and the course is superb the greens are rocket fast but well playable. The starter was very good and the manager took the time to talk to us after our game. We have played at Cherry Lodge before and everyone in our society agrees that for Golf courses in Kent this is our favourite.

Do not join

Purchased as a flexible membership.
Played twice, the first time greens were unplayable due to no drainage. The second round 2 months later and half the fairway bunkers were GUR. Informed they had to choose between cutting the fairway or sorting the bunkers.
Asked for a refund on my membership and after 7 calls over a one month period finally received an email stating I would not have a refund even for the remaining points as they think all memberships are non-refundable.
Pity as some holes could be good, but you might as well just hit balls at the range as you can't putt on a bog!

Good course

Good course and challenging - although the greens were particularly slow due to sand

First Visit

For ?25 on a Friday afternoon this is very good value. First impression was that they have clearly been hampered by the recent bad weather as there seemed to be mowers everywhere.

That said, the greens are true and pretty quick already. Some areas of rough were brutal to try to escape, but I expect they're bits that will get some mowing soon.

Interesting layout, damn tight in places so course management is an essential skill here.

Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hadn't played here for a while. Course in good nick, tho bit damp in places. Greens receptive however, and rolled well. Friendly welcome in the pro shop and excellent value @ twilight rate of £22. Will play again soon.

Small greens

Played this course recently for the first time in about 20 years. Wish I had been back sooner. The course was in excellent condition, and the small greens had a good speed to them. They held a full shot in but if you missed them to the side it would leave you with a tricky pitch to get the ball close to flag. Stroke indexes are a bit strange as the monster 571 yard 10th is SI 10 and the short 11th is SI 6. Most enjoyable course to play. Plenty of trees but not loads of thick rough or water to worry about. One to definitely try.
