Some of the greens on this course are in poor condition and there doesn't seem to be many grounds staff around, at least not when I am playing. Many of the greens are sloping which makes putting rather more difficult than on a flat green.

Ash Valley is a course I have played for the past 3 years. Being a new course (1994) it has come on very well, set in the rolling Hertfordshire countryside there isn't a boring hole in sight! The course condition is above average, what you would expect when paying such affordable green fees, the staff and members are always very welcoming and its perfect for those wanting a nice quiet round. Millionaires golf for under £20

A lovely course, quiet and peacefully set in rolling countryside. Reasonably long and some challenging greens reasonably true. Can't expect perfect maintenance for the price but exceptional value and never crowded. Quaint friendly clubhouse with a homely feel and sunny seats.
