A good course to play

A good course as part of the Altonwood Group - as always well maintained. I really liked it.

The fairways are full of divets not been replaced by golfers and bunkers are full of stones which damage your wedges and the greens are full of pitch marks which golfers don\'t repair a Marshall is needed because it\'s a challenging and great course which could be so much better if these problems are adressed

No trolleys but not really wet

Good course, similar to the PGA at the Belfry. Greens good but a touch slow but what do you expect after the rains. Tees ok bunkers a little indifferent. A variety of sands and coverage. Layout good and fair.

Played Surrey National today after a long lay off through injury.Big mistake as this is 1 of the hardest courses I have ever walked (especially if carrying ).
Course was interesting enough and in good condition for November.Greens were excellent if a little slow.Out behind a society so at nearly 5 hours! for our round is the reason I marked it down.Well worth a visit

Tricky course

Very slopey and tricky course to play in wintry conditions. Not especially long but seldom have flat lies. Better back 9 than front visually. Greens in good condition for time of year.

A friendly welcome. The course was in good condition. It was a shame that some golfers allowed their children to play around the 18th green for 5 minutes holding up play whilst they carried on drinking watching from the terrace outside the bar.
