Wow, where did those greens come from
Very quick and untrue! too many turned away just in front of the hole. May be it was me. Fairways very bare. Bunkers in different. Some with Sand other with none and plenty should be GUR. Nice to see some juniors out there but the course was relatively quiet.Reviewer Rating

Played on a Sunday, course was in pretty good condition with greens that are better than many local courses, if you want a full breakfast then stop off at a cafe on route as the menu was very limited and quite expensive

tricky
tricky course wet and muddy at least it was open but prob should not have been as most others were closed, also noticed that a lot of the old staff we enjoyed meeting and chatting with on our last visit were not around a member told us a few had left or been laid off, not what you want to hear as they were the life and soul of the club, shame, obvs new manager and get golf think they know best, not always the way though .Reviewer Rating

Frosty and muddy and some greens uneven
Needed to get out there. Course was playable but there were plenty of muddy patches and hard greens that turned into watery graves. Greens not very even but not surprising given the conditions. On the whole playable but only just in some places.Reviewer Rating

Played here on a society day. Course was in reasonable condition given the recent wet weather. Was very misty in parts both at start and end which made for tricky scoring but pleased the club let us go out. Greens were decent and rolled well. Well looked after by the club both pre and post round and food was good.

A very charming, quirky little 18-hole course. I liked a lot how many of the holes rewarded accurate play (you can't just bash your way round the course) and for just £18 per player for a twilight fee this is incredible value for money. There were a number of bunkers that were overgrown but the greens were massively improved compared to the previous time I played here.
The best holes here for me at the 9th (a steeply downhill par 3 with great views), 14th (a pond means you have to be careful with your tee shot plus on a clear day you can see Central London) and 17th (a dogleg par 4 where your tee shot must be played over a steep valley)

Fine track
After some heavy rain, fairways and greens need a cut. Slow greens but true. SOme tees show wear and tear and may need to be moved around buit on the whole a good conditioned golf course.Reviewer Rating

The course is not particularly long but a combination of tight holes, sloped fairways, unusual layout and tricky green positions make this an interesting and somewhat challenging course. Conditions were good, greens although didn't look quick were not slow and fair. Quite a lot of unrepaired pitch marls which was a shame. There are too many holes that either cross over or have to wait for greens to clear.
