What the club says: We boast a beautiful and mature golf course offering a fine challenge to golfers at all levels. Panoramic views, overlooking the North Downs and Weald, create a perfect back drop for a layout which has made best use of the interesting and undulating topography. A variety of mixed and mature trees, including many fine oaks, provide essential course definition and a mature stream creates several interesting water features ensuring that every hole provides a very different challenge. Constructed on rich sandy loam the course is playable all year round.

DRains well and nice greens

Considering the amount of rain, the course was in very good nick except the bunkers. Very compact. Greens in good condition and a nice speed for this time of year.

Nice course

This is a good course. Plenty of challenge but played sensibly shouldn't be too difficult. Good variety of holes. Nice layout. Tee boxes could do with some work. many uneven / scruffy. Great run on the fairways at this time of year.

Nice course with good facilities.

Middle of the range course

Greens were in a good condition and well kept. Tee boxes and fairways could do with some extra maintenance. There was no definitive separation between fairways and first cut. Layout is good and some challenging holes. Has potential to be a lovely course. Practice area is undergoing some redevelopment and could be great once finished. Pace of play for the front nine was slow as we had multiple groups who had started on the back 9 get to the first tee at the same time as us.

Good Condition

The course was in good condition, after a large amount of rain. Greens a little slow but very true.
The Club house food was superb.

Great par 3s but poor course

Par 3s were great. I was disappointed with the condition of the course for this time of year. Tee boxes were dreadful, almost like playing out of the first cut. Greens rolled well and true. Shame as could be a good course with a bit more love.

Great course Amazing par 3s

One of the best courses I have played within driving distance of central London. The range of holes is great. Some of the most challenging and exciting par 3s I have ever played. Cannot wait to play it again.

Nice

Nice course always in great condition. It's rather hilly so a buggy could be advisable. Plenty of interesting holes and always a friendly welcome. They have some very good deals too.

Nice Course

Played here because I live south of here and my friend lives in London so it was halfway and we wanted to play somewhere we could have a nice round and a catch up, couple of things you should be told when booking, there was a large society on which caused a very slow (5 hours) round which makes it difficult to keep momentum, also you should be told that if you are not playing as a fourball they reserve the right to add players to your tee time to fill it up, not a deal breaker but changes the 'ambiance' of your round depending who your put with. I understand that the club is trying maximise revenue but I would not play here again because of that (unless we were a fourball) as it would have been nice to be told that.

Always disappoints

Whenever I play Bletchingly I always leave disappointed, but never really sure why. Today greens were in poor condition, and for a course claiming to be ?No 1 draining course in the area? why so many tees not being used. Surrey National nearby has no mats.
There are many other courses close by that are much better quality.

The Robin Hood G/S

Played here on 16th February 2019 Staff were very friendly upon arrival, we all had a full English breakfast from the self serve buffet which was very nice. The course was in great condition for this time of year, and there are some challenging holes. although the original tees looked in great condition we did have to tee off mats on quite a few holes. Pace of play was quite slow, close on a 5 hour round, but this aside I would recommend people to visit, great value for money, nice friendly helpful staff (pro even had time to come over and chat) and a great course that we will visit again in the summer when all tee boxes will be open.
Only negative £5 for 30 or so range balls.

Very good course; will definitely return as it is a course that 'needs' to be played once or twice before you can tackle it seriously - definitely has to be thought through as you go round. Each hole has features on it that need to be considered in shot selection and the driver has to be used sparingly.

A frustratingly slow round behind members who need to revisit their pace of play as it sets the tone for the course on the weekend. That said, the course was in pretty good shape and I think much improved since February. They seem to have sorted out the tee boxes which were appalling at the start of the year. The bunkers were also decent. The greens were slow and a little uneven having been hollow tined recently but I guess that's just a matter of time. Members slow pace of play main gripe, all else pretty good.
