How To Get Ready For Golf This Winter

By: Golfshake Editor | Fri 27 Oct 2023

With winter fast approaching and golf about to change for the majority, we are here to help those who continue to play and get ready for vastly different conditions to what we experience during the summer.

Following on from our previous winter article focused on - "How to Protect Your Golf Course This Winter" - which covered the most important topics focused on helping maintain golf course conditions, this article focuses on how to get the most from your golf at this time of year.

Whilst many golfers will pack away their golf clubs, many will continue to play and there are lots of benefits to not packing away your clubs, including:

  • Staying active and social
  • Opportunities to practise and focus on improvement
  • Chance to jet away for some winter sun with golf
  • Taking advantage of winter rates and experiencing new golf courses
  • Shorter rounds of golf

But to be able to do this you need to; wear the right clothing, play golf courses that cope well during winter, know how to adapt to the conditions or simply find somewhere to play that doesn't face the same winter conditions.

Below you will find the most relevant and topical Golfshake articles to help you do just this.
