Course is a nice layout, greens are ok but must have been doing some work on them, short compared to a lot of courses and wide open, got round quickly and staff very friendly

Rough slightly boggy in places but very good for this time of year. Greens have still got a little way to go before being lush but course in general is in fantastic condition

I have to agree with 1 or 2 of the reviews on here, very wet some nice holes but a long way to go before it is classed as a great course - not quite sure how it is rated so highly

Had a good day but to rate this as highly against other venues in the area would be wrong the course is ok but doesn't set the world alight.

invited to play and was disappointed after all the hype, nice facility and a day when a golfer couldn't be seen, quite short and very open

Had a knock over the weekend, its a nice enough golf course and the staff friendly however it just isn't a course that id go crazy about playing again

Played a few weeks ago in a society, the course was in good condition but I wouldn't be going wild about the layout, its still very open short but overall good for a days golf

Played 25th Oct overall a good experience but a very overated track. It's very well kept and the greens were excellent but it's very open and i mean very, the only hole with character is the 18th and for the money (especially in the summer) there are many better course with a better variety of holes within 25 miles. Ken you have work to do to get a Ryder cup here!!!!

No ball cleaners! No shoe cleaner!
Nice course but if you miss the tight fairways by four foot don't expect to find your ball with any ease
The green speeds very from hole to hole
I will play again but will leave it till the summer

The course was in really great condition. On the 1st hole I thought, 'What a golf course'. After a while the routing got a little tiresome, with too many holes where it was tough to know where to hit it and some unplayable green contours.
It's a shame the routing wasn't done by a professional, but the condition made up for that. All in all a fun day's golf.

Good course for accuracy
To be honest I had a bit of a mare playing this course, it was very windy and I found more sand than the average 8th army veteran. The fairways are good and the greens excellent and quite fast, the first cut off the fairways can be a bit of a challenge but the rough after it is in my opinion Punitive. If you go in it, forget trying to find your ball. All in all a good day out but if I played there again I would have to pick a calmer day.Reviewer Rating

Excellent welcome in the pro shop, great tees and greens. Fairways and rough was very sloppy and borderline unplayable - would like to come back again in the summer when there is a bit of run on the ball as the course is wide open and only protected by relatively small greens. Current weekend green fee is ?60 I think which is too much given the state of the fairways but understand a pricing structure has to be in place by the season we are in - weather has been appalling the last few weeks!

Open to the Elements
I played this course with my husband and unfortunately it was a very windy day, which probably made the course a lot harder than it would be normally. The course is very open in places and hence there are quite a few bunkers around. Nice greens and fairways the rough just off the fairways is not the easiest to get out of, but the rough after that is vindictive, if your in it you do not have much chance of finding your ball.Reviewer Rating
