What the club says: Severn Meadows Golf Club is fantastically situated in the Severn Valley with spectacular views from almost everywhere on the course.

We have excellent club facilities including a fully licensed bar serving anything from light snacks to hot meals and buffets. We also have a separate purpose built function room with elevated views over the Severn Valley and the 1st, 2nd and 18th holes of the golf course.

I have played here for the third time today, and can honestly say it gets better every time. This course was previously a nine hole course with another nine added more recently which is apparent as you go round, as the original nine are far more mature and challenging. However, the layout of the course means the old and new holes are interspersed with the front nine predominately new and vice versa. This can mean some long walks between holes so a buggy is advisable, but the course is tremendous value at around £15 during the week with an offer of play all day for £10 on Mondays! The views of the Severn Valley are spectacular in places, and the unique feature of a steam train passing regularly through the course is what makes this quirky but demanding course so special.

played this course on the 22nd may 2010. really looking forwarded to it but very disappointed. although the food and service in the restaurant was first class the same could not be said for the course it's self. When you hit the middle of the fairway and still end up not finding you ball, it's a bad day. the reason for this was because a lot of the fairways on the front nine the a wash with white daisy's making the fairways looking like white blankets stretching out before you, (not good), Also the the indicators showing the way from geen to tee were lacking and this was not helped by the treck in between the holes. the rough a the edge of the fairways was in need of a trim, when your ball comes to rest less than a foot from the edge of the fair way you would expect to find it, not so here. All the above is a shame because this course has the potential to be a very nice yet demanding course in it's own right with out the added problems of the above. I did say that this would be one course that would not return too, having said that if they got the fairways and greens sorted i might be tempted to give it a second go.

This is a lovely course, very scenic, the Severn Valley Railway splits the course, very good value and have never found it over crowded.

This course improves every time we play it and now that the trees are maturing on the parkland part ofthe course it is getting interesting with straight shots off the tee being essentialas wyward shots are severely punished . The first 3 and the last 6 holes are particularly challenging
