The course is in great same with the greens running fast and true and certainly developing into one of the best courses I have played.
We managed to play for £20 in September which was a great deal. Worth contacting the club for Winter rates if you want to play a challenging course this winter.

The combination of the high quality driving range and perfectly manicured putting green means that you will be fully prepared on the first tee.
The opening holes at Heythrop provide a comfortable start to the round, with short par-4s and a reachable par-5 for many, it is important to get off to a good start.
As you reach the middle part of the front nine, you are faced with two holes that are not only test of golfing ability, but also provide a test of course management. Two shot par-4's give the longer hitters an opportunity to go for the green, but be careful, as there is plenty of water and deep bunkers waiting to punish wayward shots.
As you reach the turn on this compelling golf course, you are soon faced with the signature hole - the par 5 11th. The long and narrow par-5 requires a carefully placed tee shot followed by a calculated lay up in order to give yourself the best angle into the green. Room for error is limited on this hole and any approaches pushed to the right will find themselves at the bottom of the picturesque lake that lies beside the green.
The closing holes at Heythrop provide a true test of nerve and golfing ability. The par-3 13th is among the finest par-3s in the country, and requires a well-struck long iron to guarantee a birdie putt.
The final hole at Heythrop lays claim to being among the straightest holes in golf. A long and tree lined par-5 provides a tough finish for any golfer, and par on this hole will always be accepted.
Overall the quality and undulations of the greens combined with the well-manicured fairways make this golf course a pleasure to play; and the uniqueness of every hole is a credit to the design of the course. Well worth playing and definitely a course I would recommend.

Unbelievable Greens
Played 2 rounds at Heythrop park last weekend in testing conditions. As many other courses were closed due to the weather. Heythrop remained open and was in great condition all round except for a handful of spots that was soft. Greens were unbelievably in great condition. Hardly any pitch parks at all and were running very fast even in the rain to my dismay. Looking forward to playing this gem on a sunny day in 2024Reviewer Rating

St George?s day
Played Heythrop park for our annual St George?s day competition and we was not disappointed, greens and fairways were perfect. Only thing that could maybe be improved would be better markings on the tee boxes. Will definitely be returningReviewer Rating
