This was the first time playing the course and the estate signage is not brilliant the course itself seems reasonably new there is no bunkers on the course but plenty of water hazards with big trees to navigate at times.

Played here today at midday amongst a load of Sunday driver hackers. Unfortunately the course doesn't live up to to the amazing grounds and hotel. The course is long but quite forgiving, the greens were pretty good but the tee boxes were poor. I recommend going but don't expect a quick round, it took us 5hrs 30mins. Also the prices in the bar and pro shop are a joke....a bottle of coke and choc bar...£3, come on!!

The opening few holes were a disappointment. There was no real character to the holes. The opening 9 holes still need a lot of work. Fairways narrow and in need of some watering as scorched. However, the greens were in excellent condition. The course improved when heading back towards the clubhouse and more established holes on the course. It needs a few more years to be a truly challenging course.

Felt like a golf course cut out of a field. Greens decent if not a little inconsistent but fairways average at best, tee boxes terrible, course just felt like it's not seen water for months, and cut by Combine harvesters rather than mowers.

Great location and great potential but having not played for 5 years I don't feel it's moved forward since

Fair way and green is acceptable. rough has cut to short. so it is easier to fond ball. No banker. If aiming the best score, good choice.

Liked the facilities and the services but the course was a let down, i thought the S.I. was out, relatively flat corse, not many trees but a few water hazards to catch you out

Practice range was a field - very poor.

The course was in ok condition considering how hot and dry the summer has been. Greens need a bit of attention. Some areas badly scorched and disease present. Has got potential but needs more investment and attention to detail!
