What The Club Says
The course was designed by Charles Lawrie and it opened for the first time in 1973. It has developed brilliantly in that time and is one of the finest courses in the region, a fact its numerous members will no doubt back up. It's a fine test of golf no matter how you play the game, and so is well worth playing.

hard
hard course at times tricky tight par 3 - 10th, long walk from greens to next tee box at times especially the 17th to the 18th, weird walk past a local park people are just allowed to walk on the course, saw a lady crossing a fairway walking her dog there was a man with half his clothes on on the 17th really puts you off waiting makes for slow play makes for a frustrating game hole 18 90 degree left turn hole ? overall rating 6 out of 10 at the weekend there is a martial who for some reason let some randoms who begged to get on the course joined our tee time that we booked in advance without even a ask if we were ok with it

Enjoyable course
Very good public course. Varied holes, greens true and fast, fairways still a bit rough after the long dry period but pick and place was in operation so no real problem.Reviewer Rating

Very good at my handicap 23
As a 73 year old who has played here for some years,I still find it challengingenough for my handicap.The course is kept in very good condition and the greens
are beautiful at the present time. The staff are all friendly.

OK ish
Park open to general public to walk dogs, etc. Found kids playing in bunkers, pitch marks not being repaired by previous golfers, not a bad course, but could be a lot betterReviewer Rating

never seems to disappoint me. the club is very friendly
the course has been kept really quite good throughout the
winter period, and now the weather is improving the ground staff
are working very hard to get it back to summer conditions.
