First time of playing this course, very well kept fairways and greens and course played very good.

Played this course yesterday and had a fantastic time. It was v. windy and this made some of the long par 4's tricky. It's a thinkers course and definitely not one where you can just open up and boom the big dog off every tee (I used my driver twice for reference). Course in general is in brilliant condition, keep it on the dance floor and you get a great lie every time, rough not too severe, green's cut well and rolling very true. I shot a 75 which partly due to holding back off most of the tee's and playing long/medium irons for position, giving a shot into most greens with my second shot. The par 3's are lovely and most are no more than a wedge/9 iron in which gives good opportunity's for birdies. Overall a very picturesque, fair course and one which I will certainly be playing again.

Ok, So I may be slightly biased as I am a member here.......This is a tough course. The greens can get VERY fast and knowing them will give you a good 2/3 shots per round. Its very tight in places and as its in a valley you always get some kind of wind.
The course is in its best condition during the summer months, if your heading in winter it can be wet but credit to the green staff it gets back to its best pretty quickly.
This is the best course in the local area.

Played Sunday afternoon on a very reasonable twilight rate of £12 per person. Course was in great condition with some interesting holes - particularly the par 3s. Well worth a look.

Only thing to complain about was some stones in the odd bunker and tee box on the 12th apart from that, very good and we have booked a society day there next spring.
