Great golf course!
Stayed with 3 mates for a 2-night 3 round golf break and we were very impressed with all aspects of Wychwood Park. The course is fairly open, but dog-legs, numerous bunkers, plenty of water and changes in height make it a stern challenge. Off the tee it's fairly forgiving and on most holes you'd have to hit a pretty bad one to be in real trouble - as we proved on several occasions! The greens were running fast with some very tricky borrows to negotiate. Overall the course is well maintained, although several of the bunkers were very claggy. The 'enjoyment tees' based on slope rating seemed to work well. Being mid(ish!)-handicappers we played off the 138s and enjoyed the challenge.
Staff in the pro-shop were very friendly and helpful, the pace of play was good and Wychwood Park is one of those courses where nearly every hole is distinctive. So overall an excellent golfing experience.

Fairways weren't great but greens were in superb condition.
Bunkers were only part that let course down, terrible condition some of them!

Tough but worth trying
This is a tough track but lovely at the same time.Variety of tees, indicated by the Stroke index. We played the '138' where I got 3 extra shots, but off the 151 I would have had 5!
All of the tee markers are the same colour which was a bit confusing at times.
Greens were a little long but that is probably due to the extreme heat at the moment.
On some tees you can't even see where to put the ball so you just have to go for it. Luckily I was playing with a member.
Facilities and staff great.
Tough course but definitely worth a go!

Really liked this course - challenging
I played the course twice over a weekend stay over with 9 of my friends. Many of them found this course very challenging with a lot of lost balls all round. But the course was in very good condition and the greens were of a good pace and well maintained. If you want a challenge then look no further. I would definitely come back here and play this again as it really suited my eye. If your lucky like me you can walk away with a good score, but you have to stay focused. The facilities and staff were all very pleasant. Although there was a delay in the food service in the evening, they did compensate us for the delay and there were genuine acceptable reasons for the delay. It didn't really distract too much from the overall quality of the weekend.Reviewer Rating

Sunny golf
Lovely sunny day. Nice facilities including ample driving range although the chipping green needs some work. The course was in good nick. True and very undulating greens whilst not being to fast. Bunkers were awful though. Didn't look like they had been touched in months so we just deemed them all GUR
Halfway house has plenty available but a little priced. Clubhouse decent but again a little on the pricey side.
Only paid £18 for the round so decent value for money

Good Course but long!
Fair course - a good challenge and well maintained. Long walks between some tees but this is due to preserved wildlife habitat areas.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 13.1)
