What the club says: The superb 7213 yard par 72 championship course at Wychwood Park has been constructed to European PGA Tour standards and features a fully computerised irrigation system; the superb tees and large greens are also constructed to USGA specifications. There are five separate teeing grounds to suit all standards of golfer and the course is kept in supreme condition throughout the year. Having opened in 2001 this young gem is beginning to mature into a real championship classic, leaving many critics singing its praises despite its relative youth. The course also features numerous lakes, streams and bunkers, making it one of the most picturesque new courses in the UK & Ireland. Wychwood Park has hosted many professional events now adds the European tour Q school to its growing reputation.
What Golfshake says: A certain golfshake favourite and a brilliant test of golf. Every hole is different and you need to be on your game to play well here.

Challenging course, a stiff test
Lots of tests on this course, with strategically placed bunkers, streams and dog legs. The greens were very poor, but it is early in the season. Even though the course itself isn't long, there are some long walks between green to nect tee and dut ot the undulations a uggy is a definate help.Reviewer Rating

Very long course with challenging holes. Greens were fantastic with the pin positions in very difficult placements. Great setting well manicured but the rough is tough so stay straight.Reviewer Rating

Its Tough
This course is no walk over, I play off 17 and was more than pleased and a little lucky to come off the course 19 over. Anything off target is punished severely by the very long grasses, and on some of the holes actually reaching the fairways can be a challenge. The greens are some of the best I have played on and very true, which saved my bacon on a couple of holes. The buggies have a GPS system display but ensure that you do not go off track as the buggy stops and locks for a couple of minutes, then tells you to stay on the track when there is no sign of one. Its probably best to get instruction from one of the staff before starting off.Reviewer Rating

Really liked this course - challenging
I played the course twice over a weekend stay over with 9 of my friends. Many of them found this course very challenging with a lot of lost balls all round. But the course was in very good condition and the greens were of a good pace and well maintained. If you want a challenge then look no further. I would definitely come back here and play this again as it really suited my eye. If your lucky like me you can walk away with a good score, but you have to stay focused. The facilities and staff were all very pleasant. Although there was a delay in the food service in the evening, they did compensate us for the delay and there were genuine acceptable reasons for the delay. It didn't really distract too much from the overall quality of the weekend.Reviewer Rating

Sunny golf
Lovely sunny day. Nice facilities including ample driving range although the chipping green needs some work. The course was in good nick. True and very undulating greens whilst not being to fast. Bunkers were awful though. Didn't look like they had been touched in months so we just deemed them all GUR
Halfway house has plenty available but a little priced. Clubhouse decent but again a little on the pricey side.
Only paid £18 for the round so decent value for money

Good Course but long!
Fair course - a good challenge and well maintained. Long walks between some tees but this is due to preserved wildlife habitat areas.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 13.1)
